Hello - I'm a newbie here! Been lurking for a while, but upon hearing about the upcoming NYC SS, I've decided to come out of hiding.

Question - I'm trying to juggle my work schedule to attend the tPF opening night, can I just RSVP to the email on the flyer, or do I need to receive the invite by email? This is my first SS, where I hope to make my first RM purchases, so this is all new to me.

I'll be attending alone, so I hope to meet some friendly tPF-ers!

ps - I'm hoping to find a FIG MAB and MAC (color TBD) at the sale

Just RSVP! not even sure if im off from work yet but ill be able to go anyway, this will be my second RM SS and my christmas gift this year. I cant wait to meet more tPF-ers!!

I emailed Sarah about another matter and asked her for hints on what to expect for the SS and here's what she said:

"We are waist-deep in preparations with tons of good bags getting ready for TPF night. Lots of one-of-a-kind samples in styles no one has ever seen before! Plus favorites from 2009... we are still working on wrapping our heads around what we have in stock and planning what to send to the sample sale. I think this sale is going to be a really good one- I hope you'll agree!"

I'm excited to see the samples but sad that I can't attend TPF night.

Thanks so much for the info! For anyone who’s been before, do people show up early/wait in line for TPF night? How big is the crowd for TPF night? I think my bus is supposed to get in (we’ll see) an hour or two before, so just wondering how much time I have to kill...

I usually come to the SS's with my MANkette, Lee... He is great at these things, it's like having 2 of me there.. He picks out exactly what I like.. But unfortunately he has school and won't be able to join me... That's not going to stop me though, I will see you guys there....

^^ ITA im so freaking excited im in the process of converting a friend of mine into a minkette and i think this is the perfect time to introduce her to the wonderful world of RM hehehehee

My Boss' wife always compliments my bags, and she 's pretty cool so I told her about the SS... I think she might want to go with me... This is good and bad.. Bad because the boss will hate me if she spends a lot (which she will) and Good because she will be happy and leave boss man alone....lol
