I might be in on this. I hafta look at my funds. But I totally want a PH MAC with gunmetal hardware. Can we do the grey stripe lining. NO birds or blue & white stripe. I don't care about the tassels. Would we do new hardware? Just curious. I wanna get all the details.

^ Yeah, I agree- definitely no bird lining. I do think grey stripe would probably look best with PH, or b/w floral possibly. Otherwise I'm totally flexible... hardware does not matter to me, but it will probably come down to what is available in gunmetal (I don't think new/sig. hardware is available in gunmetal but correct me if I'm wrong). And I think long tassels would look great but that doesn't matter too much. I guess once a couple more people get on board we can figure out the specs!

^^Just FYI I believe the gray stripe is a china only lining.

I'm flexible on the lining, but I'd also love long finished tassels if that's a possibility!

And if everyone wants to get the signature hardware and it only comes in silver, I'm okay with that. I still would prefer the gunmetal, but I'm sure they'll both look great!

Yay I'm excited! I really wanted a traditional MAC, and really wanted something in Purple Haze, so this will be awesome. Hopefully we can make this happen!

I don't think gunmetal is available in signature hardware since it was introduced after signature hw was long gone.. If you go for silver siggy hardware, do keep in mind they are out of the signature feet (they had to use different feet on the black MAC SO).

OP...are you in touch with Codi regarding hardware? I'm waiting to hear the status on silver/sig or gunmetal ... depending on that final answer will determine if I'm interested. I'd prefer uber-long-unfinished-yummy-tassels but the long finished are fine w/ me too.

I was thinking this would be great with signature hardware as well...to bad it doesn't come in gunmetal! BTW I never knew that deep purple came in the mac, and it had sig hardware. Maybe this picture might convert some people? lol.

anyone want to do a photoshopped version of the mac with gunmetal in ph?

Yep I sent her a quick email about the hardware. Hopefully she will get back to us tomorrow. I'd be fine with either silver sig or gunmetal
