For some reason I am thinking the hobo is a bit more. We'll see where this SO goes. Thanks for responding TX!

There was an SO for the MA Hobo a while back that never took off. The price at the time was $595. The hobo is longer and narrower than the standard MA. There is a pic with a bw bag in the thread. The dimension of the bag: 17.5L X 5.25D X 10.5H.

deb, the one that I have is the original royal from 2007 with candy cane lining.

The SO would be for the new royal (not bright royal from fall) coming out in January. The new royal is the same as the recent SO's for the MAM which i am told is near identical to the original royal... if that wasn't confusing enough

As far as the dimensions, the MA hobo is actually slightly bigger than a MAB, but the base is thinner so it moulds to the body like a hobo and is NOT at all overwhelming! Its a great size!

I'd even be down for a black/black basketweave combo with gunmetal

We'd only have to put 30% down AND we would get a GWP. I've asked Rebecca and i don't think she plans on bringing this style back, so it would be a veryyyyyy rare chance to get this!!

Hmmm here are the combo's i think would ROCK:

Royal/Brown Basketweave- Brass HW
Black/Black Basketweave- Gunmetal or Silver HW
Brown Bear- Brass HW
Dark Grey- Silver HW
Purple Haze- Gunmetal HW
Black Haze- Gunmetal

Desi I am utterly enamored with the MA Hobo right now!

I could almost swing with a few of your color choices so far:

Brown Bear- Brass HW – I would prefer silver with brown bear after seeing the gold stud brown bear MAM reveal – the yellow against that shade of brown doesn't work for me
Dark Grey- Silver HW – hee hee, what's not to like even if I already have a DG w/silver MAM?
Black Haze- Gunmetal – would you consider pepper? I'm still on the fence about gunmetal and I'm still searching for the perfect black w/silver HW bag...

I admit, I suck when it comes to throwing down on a $$$ bag - the more it costs, the more boring (I like to say "understated"

) I get.

Added: forgot to ask, is burgundy leather still available?

I don't think burgundy is available, but plum is :)

I'm pretty much open to whatever, but something baskwetweave is my first choice :)

I hope more people are interested in this! I am definitely going to keep an eye on this thread because I think it's an awesome style/shape and sooooo easily wearable.

The new, deeply stamped BBW is amazing but I'm not sure I can embrace it in a larger bag – maybe I just need some time to get used to the idea...
