I think there was more than one thread for this SO because I've already removed my name from one of them but I just noticed this one as well. I think Catalina started this one once the 1st filled up. Anyway, I have to remove my name. My other SO went through.

This is just a suggestion but maybe all of us on the two lists could work out a compromise, it looks like we have 7 people so we are close to an order going through :) Maybe old hw with a blue zipper or new mixed with a purple zipper or whatever! Just a thought!

^ great idea!! Which is the old hardware? Dogleash with O rings? I'm relatively new to RM...

Personally, I love the purple zipper but I have a PH MAM which I think I would use if I'm looking for something purple, KWIM? Blue zipper stands out a lot from the black and is a combo I don't have...which is why I want it so much, but I think if we could work out a compromise it would be fantastic. Maybe we should hear what others think about this.

I really love the basketweave and a coloured zipper so other than that I am really open to whatever everyone else decides. The blue against the black is gorgeous btw! The old-style is the dogleash and o-rings.

^ I just did a bit of research and the old hardware doesn't come with zipper pulls...=( I must have the mixed HW then.

I'm also wondering, are the finished tassels removable? It's not a deal-breaker but I'm just thinking it would be better to have a choice when I want the tassels on/off.

Yes, tassels are removable on both versions, old or new HW. The new HW has zip tabs, as where the old HW has only O-rings. I personally prefer the old style HW but can actually go either way. I just really want a Black BW in my collection. Purple or Blue zip, doesn't really matter to me.

There are actually two lists for two separate bags. The first list is for BBW MAM with Old Silver HW and Purple zipper tracks

The only real differences between these two S.O.s are the HW, zipper color, and tassel length. If we consolidate the lists, we may get this list to fill and have a successful S.O. in our hands. All I really care about is getting my hands on a Black BW MAM. The details are pretty moot to me, since we all agree on lining already, which is a biggie. What do you ladies think?

^ I feel the same, I just want a BBW MAM period. I considered the gunmetal HW but I want something that I can wear with any outfit. I thought the gunmetal would be too trendy in case I wanted to bring it to work.

Details don't really matter to me either. I am ok with either zipper tracks but I really like the mixed hardware which I think looks shinier in pictures than the old one. I just bought a teal MAM which I think looks great with the mixed HW.... another thing is that with the zipper pulls the bag won't look weird if I de-tasselise it. But if everyone else wants the old I will be OK with it..

Since we all agree on the rest of the bag's features (deep BW stamping, pebbled black leather on bag's body, HW tone-color, black and white floral lining, and long flat finished tassels)... Let's start a consolidated list and restate your preferences, please.
