Aaargh! That really kills me too! Yeah, I kind of thought that was the point too, but I wouldn't use that stuff especially on really porous leather like Stonewash or Sage. I think if your DP has enough of a finish on it, it should be okay. And naturally, I just slathered it on like shaving cream without testing it first. I mean my poor Sage Mattie's handles turned almost black. YUCK!

NO WAY!!!
Almost BLACK?
Oh geeez... that sux.
My DP handles have just slightly turned darker with the application, but enough so that I definitely notice it....

Hopefully, you'll be able to ignore it, Coop. That is such an amazing color. If it came in a Nikki, I would definitely buy one.

I hate to say it, Naza, but I would definitely call Barbara at LMB and tell her what happened with her product and ask if she can fix/seal/protect your handles at her expense! This is NOT supposed to happen.
I mean, it is an expensive product that is supposed to PROTECT the handles from this problem, and I am a little upset that my handles darkened slightly, but your sage handles turning nearly black???! Barbara is really nice, and I am sure she would want to know if one of her products caused this to happen on your very rare bag!

That's a good idea, except that I'm thinking it is a question of user error in that I didn't test it, but even if she could give me a discount on the handle cleaning, that would be great!

Emerald anything with FDL is GORGEOUS

naza - congrats on Noir Nikki! I'm SO excited for you!!!! I know you've been waiting to pounce on a Noir Nikki for what seems like forever, I'm sure... and trust me when I say that it's completely 100% worth the wait. It's one of the softest Nikkis in my collection and just turns to a puddle immediately. You are going to adore it, and I know it will quickly jump to the top of your favorites list. Oh yes, and you best be posting pics in the Nikki chat thread when she arrives...

If money were no object and I hadn't just joined two SOs, I'd be all over that Rocker. I LOVE the Rocker, probably even more than the MAC, and the DG Croc really makes it stand out!

I am disappointed but I love the bag so much I just try to overlook it.
Thanks for the warning! I've never used LMB, but got a couple of bottles from LB's point program. I'll be sure to test it out first (even though it's a different LMB product). Can you take a pic so we can see what happened?
