Also, I don't know where to add this above, but my Purple berry matinee is lambskin and the purple is totally distressed (and i haven't used it ever, it is distressed even as brand new !)

Here are some pictures borrowed from Circoit's collection post of the matinee I'm referring to.

sanghu - I'm pretty sure our ShopBop matinees are the night blue leather. Sometiems ShopBop makes up their own names for colors, and since this matinee was an exclusive to them, I wouldn't be surprised.

As for the seagreen - the seagreen is definitely not structured or stiff, its soft and glazed like the cloud grey.

Desi-

the ocean you had was distressed like the night blue? That's nuts! I wonder how the leather varies so much. I wish concord was like my ocean leather! My Ocean is smooth as silk, much thicker than night blue

Hello Circoit, nice to see you here. I see what you mean, but I have the night blue nikki also and I feel like it is a much darker blue versus the true purple in the matinee, KWIM? I will go back and take another look today.

I think the Hazelnut belongs in the Stiff/Structured category as well as being glazed. I've had my MAB Hazelnut since April, and it is still very structured.

Saddle is incredible! I got a MAB in the mail today and it's like butter! Hazelnut is structured. I kind of remember it being like glazed almond.

What about colors like mocha, sea foam, lilac, deep purple and yellow/silverspot. I didn't see them on the list and I have never felt any of them before.

^^I would say the LILAC is soft/smooth, but on the more structured side of the spectrum. More like wine than ocean.

Would someone be able to rank the types of leather from least to most smooshy (puddly)? And maybe include a sample pic for each type? I keep going back and forth between the list and photos in other threads to match them up...I'm going crosseyed!

Thanks for starting this thread. It's answering the very question I was going to ask!

There's already a thread about that exact topic. Search "smooshy leather" and it should come up.

Here is a very helpful link writer. This is a database a couple minkettes put together that has pretty much 95% off all the colors RM has put into production till date- including some sample bags!
