Default **Dying/Restoring your TLC needin RM Bags- PICS ONLY**
Hey Ladies!

Its great that we have more and more ladies that have been dying their RM bags that are in need of some serious TLC!

Thank you Icyblue, and Crazy4handbags for starting the inspiration!!

As many of you know handbag restoration can get pretty costly.... so here is a great alternative to making your bag good as new!

Ladies that have dyed your bags, please post BEFORE pics, pics of how the bag looks after each coat, and also pics of the end product.

As reference, please also post the brand of dye you used, and the color name and number as well!

ALSO- If you have sent your bags to Lovinmybags.com or any cobbler of your choice for restoration, please post before and after pics here!!

THANK YOU!!

And please lets keep these as a PICS ONLY for reference, and NO CHATTING please!

I've been researching the dyeing process and I found this website that has the Tarrago colors displayed very clearly. This was easier for me to see than the usual color chart.

Mods: I know this is a pic only thread but I couldn't find a more appropriate place to put this link. Please move/delete as needed.

I did my best in taking the oils out of the handles by using cornstarch.

First Layer Complete!

Second Layer in Progress. Comparison picture between first and second layers.
