I really do love it! I've been using it on my daughter as well and I swear her hair is looking better everytime we use it. She is so cute about it, she won't let anyone put shampoo in her hair anymore and she tells everyone about Wen. I think everyone thinks I'm nuts for buying 3 bottles at $50 a pop and for putting it on my kids hair but I just don't care b.c. the results are so great! I will admit her hair seems to be responding better than mine but I think that I need a different type. I would like to get the cucumber/aloe and see if that works better for me. Currently we have Tea tree, Sweet almond mint and Pomogranite. Tea tree seems to work the best for me along with the pomogranite on my ends.

Ohh good! I'm glad you and your daughter are liking it! It does take some trial and error but it is so worth it!

MY HAIR IS FALLING OUT - I started using WEN about five weeks ago. At first I loved it, I could comb my hair so much easier when went, I no longer had fly aways at my part. I thought it was the best stuff ever. Then I started noticing a lot hair in the sink when styling. I have medium long average hair type hair, color treated down at the ends with about five inches a natural at the crown. Hair dressers have always described my hair as thin but as having a lot, just about every stylist who's foiled my hair has comment "gosh you've got a lot of hair" but it's deceiving because it's so slick. SO about three weeks into WEN and I was noticing even more hair everywhere, on my clothes, bed, floating around in the bath and way too much in my brushing after brushing... I'd never heard anything negative about WEN especially nothing about hair loss.

It was becoming very obvious that i was losing way more hair than normal but i still as not overly concerned then my mom mentioned that my hair didn't look good that it was flat and that I should go back to regular shampoo so I shampooed with regular shampoo the next time just to see if she would notice and wow I was the one who noticed. My hair wasn't as easy to comb with regular shampoo but was so much more shiny and lively but it was too late, I didn't realize then... just last week what WEN had done to my hair and scalp.

The hair loss from the previous weeks with WEN was beginning to show, I had already been getting handfuls of hair out of my brush every time I used it, lots of hair in the shower, bed, on my clothes, I thought it would chill out and stop shedding but it didn't and nowhere I am, five weeks since I started WEN, one week after stopping it and in the last three weeks I've lost more than 30% of my hair. My part is wide and sparse, I have to try to hide a large parting down the back of my head at the crown that was never there before, the front of my hair, the bang area that comes just below my chin, is so thin and wispy- I hate even looking at myself or to touch my hair and for some reason it's much thinner on the right than the left. My part is getting wider by the day, I can see through my hair to my scalp, and speaking of my scalp.....

Last Thursday I noticed three little red areas on my scalp right at the front top of my scalp, right at the part, I part my hair in the middle. They looked like little scabs, the closer I looked, the more horrified I became. My entire scalp was covered in red blotches and since I am usually not right up in the mirror examining my scalp, it wasn't until then that I also noticed just how thin my hair was getting!!

Now just a week later, my hair is horrible, it's literally making me sick at how thin it's becoming, it looks like I have some kind of disease that causes hair loss and the red blotches are now inflamed and crusty and burning. I bought some T-Gel shampoo this evening because my scalp feels like it's on fire... I just started reading yesterday about all the others who've lost hair due to WEN so I wanted to share my experience too. I know just as many people say they love it as those who are experiencing hair loss but ask yourself, is it really worth paying all that money to find out which you'll be? If I had done my research like I should have before trying any new product, I wouldn't have risked it and I hope and pray that anyone reading this who hasnt tried it, won't.

Ihatewen: It sounds like you might be having an delayed allergic reaction after using Wen or the new products could also cause this. I have tried Wen and am not a fan in any way of their company. I think their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced in any business. I would never recommend their products. I have had so many problems finding the right hair products. Usually there are things that make my scalp itch and I have had red spots on my scalp. Perhaps you should see a dermatologist just to make sure there is not a serious problem that can be corrected. The added stress you have doesn't help.
On a side note I was in the drugstore and looking for hair products for my daughter with long hair and came across one by Panteen which was geared for longer hair-maybe called great lengths. It was sulfate free and my daughter said the shampoo and conditioner were the best she ever tried and she could comb her hair with no knots not to mention how great her hair smells. She has sensitive skin and it has been hit or miss in finding anything that works. Good luck and I hope your hair loss stops. I know there is a vitamin people say helps hair and nails-I forgot the name.

I have read a lot about Wen making people's hair fall out, so I would search online, and hopefully there are other people who posted their experience too.

My mom has been using WEN (lavender scent) and loves it. She had some sent to my house to pick up during the holidays and told me to go ahead and open it and try it out. I'm on day 5 and I'm having mixed results. The first couple of days my hair was really soft and looked nice, but the last 2 it has been flat and kinda greasy looking. I have super thin, super straight hair anyway so this is the last thing I need! My mom said it gave her hair lots of body. Not so much for me. Plus I feel like I am using a TON! It recommended like almost 20 pumps but I feel like 2 would be plenty and I have medium length hair.

I bought the Ginger Pumpkin Wen and I used it for about a week, total. It burned my scalp, and my hair looked flat and greasy. Perhaps I did not rinse long enough, but I am not going to waste water for 30 minutes trying to get product out of my hair.
Now I am using the Wen as a shaving cream, and it works well for that.

I was really tempted to buy WEN cus I'm trying to grow my hair back after I decided to cut it all off in a 'Bobs are SO chic' fit. Plus, who doesn't want fabulous luscious hair like those models on HSN?

but I've read too many posts about hair loss, and now I'm scared out of my wits. I think im just going to let it grow, slow and steady...

wow...QVC has been featuring Wen for a few days now and I was so tempted to buy it. I am glad I read these posts! The models that they feature have unbelievable hair...this must be one of those love it or hate it products.

^ There's so much effort in marketing that its hard to know what really works and what doesn't. I appreciate the real feedback and info from your experience. thanks

There are devotees for Wen... I am not one of them... there are other sulfate

free shampoos on the market that work better than Wen. IMHO.....the one

good thing is if you buy it on QVC you can always send it back!!
