Default Smashbox Lash DNA Mascara
On my 2nd mascara from my Sephora's Lashstash.

$19

Hate this brush. If you have short sparse lashes like me this is not useful. It took forever for me to coat my lashes. It's just too big to get to the lashes- inside, outside or bottom lashes. I've tried drugstore mascara that performed better than this. Chemical odor also that I didn't care for. I will say there was no flaking though.

I think I can safely say that I'm not a Smashbox fan now and will not try anything else of theirs. The only thing that I have liked have been a couple of their primers.

Will not buy (or use up my sample size)

I purchased this a few weeks ago when Sephora had it near the check-out counter for $9. I usually like Smashbox products, but this is the pits. I have long lashes to begin with, but like to maximize their volume. Like leggeks, I feel that this brush is too big to adequately coat the lashes. I can't get close to the roots. I will be sticking with L'Oreal Voluminous!

Aww, sad to hear the bad reviews on this mascara! I typically love Smashbox EXCEPT their mascaras. I received a sample of this, and it's now the only mascara of theirs that I DO like, lol.

Just another example of what works for some, doesn't work for others! Good to know that there are thousands of mascaras out there to try!

I have this on my dresser w/ the receipt from Sephora. I've not used it yet and am tempted to return it now w/ these reviews. I just bought it b/c it was on sale and I figured it couldn't be that bad.

^Don't count it out just yet, i love it LOADS more than the bionic mascara... it just doesn't come in a variety of colors yet!

I never used it and returned it yesterday. I looked at the brush and WOAH, it was HUGE. I thought it would probably make a mess. I spent another $10 and got the Blood Orange perfume I had wanted for awhile instead.
