LOL yeah it took me a few extra minutes to clean mine, and there are still two tiny spots of makeup on it that I might try to work on when I get home this evening. If they don't come out, I'm not even gonna worry about it...no one else is going to see the thing except me and my bf (and he knows it's just makeup on it) so whatever lol.

Do try to get all the makeup out! I left a lot of makeup on it and my bb started to smell horrible because of the foundation.

Yikes! I'll definitely try to get the last little bit out of it when I get home. I was trying to hurry this morning, but managed to get almost all of it out.

I bought it for 50% off using the AVEYOU coupon on KGBDeals. http://a5d5abb3-1e1f-4df3-bd7e-57897....com/?id=41157

I love it!! It leaves my makeup flawless. I'm never going back to a foundation brush.

I tried this too, and it's just OK. It's stiff and doesn't soften up. It seems to soak up more product too.

Suggest..then engage
I absolutely love my BB. It works wonders for applications. Anyone having trouble or dreading the cleansing process should try doing it with DAWN Dishwashing Liquid. A drop and a few squeezes will have it clean in no time.

I haven't tried that sponge however I have the london look sponge applicator from london drugs. I compared it side to side with my beauty blender and it is almost the exact shape and color but the london look is slightly bigger in size. Texture-wise isn't exactly similar but the most important of all is that I get the same airbrush effect with either of the two. The beautyblender cost twice as much $ so I make sure to clean it thoroughly and carefully with its own cleanser each time. I find that Johnson's baby body wash is good in cleaning and eliminating off makeup residue in both sponges too. These sponges, however we meticulously clean them, are meant to be tossed out after a couple months so the extra $10 cost of beautyblender compared to the London look dupe may be a factor to consider.

I use the cheap cosmo version and it's great - costs about £5 and stocked in Superdrug in the UK

I haven't even used mine yet and didn't buy cleaning product, I appreciate hearing what everyday cleansers people are using.
My neighbor says she used her face cleanser and if it was good enough for her face good enough for the sponge, but I wonder if that would get all the germs out?

I've been using it for the last couple of weeks now. I like the results it gives but the sponge itself is a mess. I can never clean off all the make up and the sponge started to rip after a few days. I don't think I'll buy again.

I have had mine for a year and never used it.
Maybe I will try it now that I know how to clean it - dawn liquid cleanser. Thanks, michie!

Has anyone noticed when their sponge gets older it absorbs more foundation? Or am I just being paranoid?
