Default When did your pants get too tight?

So I'm curious on when everyone's clothes got too tight in their pregnancy. It's happening to me now and I'm 5-6 weeks. ugh. WAY too early for me. I wasn't mentally prepared for this! LOL!

too tight to button around 12 weeks, and that was w/ my twins and my 2nd pregnancy.
1st pregnacy you usually don't show as soon as w/ subsequent pregnancies, so for my 1st it was more like 16 weeks.

For all 3 of my pregnancies, my pants started getting tight at 4-4 1/2 months. Around that time, I started to let my shirts hang out as well.

I don't know when I outgrew them... and it's funny you should ask this now because my GF and I just finished talking about this literally 5 minutes ago.

I pretty quickly moved into a pair of black Lululemon yoga pants (the kind you fold under the belly) in order to avoid obsessing about how fast I was outgrowing my clothes...Additionally, they were insanely flattering and comfortable and I never felt fat or dumpy in them...

It worked really well for me I have to say. That pair of pants saw me through my entire pregnancy regardless of whether I was just lounging around or pairing it up with a dressier top. I really liked Japanese Weekend for tops & dresses, however I still wore those Lululemon pants for most of my first 3 months post-partum especially when I started working out again 6 weeks after my C-section. So I only gave up that pair of pants one morning about 3 months after the birth of my twins when I looked at myself in a full-length mirror and thought I could probably fit into my pre-pregnancy pants with no trouble... Amazingly, even though I washed them every day, they still looked really great almost a year later (I just followed the care instructions on the label). I know exactly when I was able to fit back into my pre-pregnancy stuff, but I really didn't want to know when I outgrew my stuff because I knew I'd get bummed out (and I took everything way too seriously when I was pregnant anyway). Theoretically, I could say that I never outgrew those size 6 pants... LOL... and somehow that made me feel much better about my expanding belly, thighs and butt....

I think at 4 months things were tight, at 5 months I was out of them. 9 weeks sounds early, but everybody is different, you know?

with me my stomach always felt queasy...so anything tight around it made it worse. so i started to unbutton my pants and use a rubberband [loop it through the hole and then around the button] for awhile. then when they got too small i bought preggo pants.

with my 2nd the tightness did come on quicker...

Don't fret...I am now 6-7 weeks and last week, I couldn't button up my jeans! I attribute it to bloating and also I have started to drink more water these days. I have stopped wearing my jeans and started wearing more of my leggings with looser tops. Hope that helps and don't feel depressed!

i'm going into 10 weeks now, and a majority of my jeans don't fit comfortably anymore. Only my low waisted jeans are comfortable. i'm terribly sad that my designer jeans will be going into hibernation. however, i do also recommend Lululemon yogo pants. i've been wearing them often because they're very comfortable around the waist line.

Don't worry about this...it's probably just bloating...it happened to me too! There's so many hormonal changes going on in your body. I fluctuated alot in the beginning, (due to lots of constipation...sorry to be gross), but I really didn't start showing till about 20 weeks or so. (I'm 30 weeks now)
Hope this helps and Congratulations!!

I was super skinny before I got pregnant and I started showing pretty quickly. It was hard to hide the tummy by the time I was 16 weeks pregnant. If you still like to wear your pre-pregnancy pants try using a bella band. I managed to wear my pre-pregnancy pants all through my pregnancy using bella bands.

Everyone told me you're not suppose to show until 4-5 months for the 1st child. I'm showing a bit already and I have a friend who's 10 weeks and she's showing a bit as well.

I was out of dress pants by about week 14-15. I gave up the last of my jeans by week 23 or so. Now it's dresses for work and Lulu yoga pants on the weekends.
