I am 23 weeks and have just outgrown all of my pants. My butt & thighs have just gotten crazy fat over the last two weeks.

I've been wearing all pre-preggo pants/skirts with Bella Bands up until now.

I lived in Old Navy yoga (not maternity) pants with my last pregnancy...I'm going to check out the lulu's too! Where can you find them? I briefly looked online and it seems like you have to find them in-store?

Mine got snug in the beginning of the second trimester. I threw up so much in the first trimester I think I lost weight.

I'm still wearing my pants but I can't button them! I have to use my bella bands :) I'd say around 14 weeks I couldn't button them anymore cause I just POPPED!

I'm at the end of my 4th month and pants are just starting to feel a bit tight; time to invest in a Bella Band

ok question.. im about 6 months and i didnt outgrow my pre-pregnancy jeans..they are low rise and some people have been commenting that this is bad for my baby and could cause serious harm if i dont switch to maternity jeans? does anyone know if thats true?

p.s. these "people" are all the old women so sometimes im like its just an old wives tale and other times im like..maybe they know best, kwim?

I don't think it would harm your child unless they were squeezing your belly super tight. But i think if your pants are low rise they will be fine. I just ordered a pair of low rise jeans.

I'm curious now...
When they first came out, I don't think they catered to pregnant women. However, they certainly have a market for them now with all the prenatal yoga and "baby and yoga" classes that I see...I know there are some tops they sell that are designed for pregnant women and their growing bellies (don't see it on the website but I've seen it in stores). When I went to buy another pair of pants, one of the salesgirls recommended a certain pair of crops for me telling me that it was pregnant women who were buying them all because they were so comfy!

I am around 6 weeks and I too have a serious case of baby bloat. I am a size 25 and I can button my pants but forget about sitting down in them....it is too painful in the waist.

Just remember that everyone and every pregnancy is different. Don't get down on yourself! Just go out and get some really cute maternity pants. You will be more comfortable and that will make things much better!

I was a size 2 before baby #1 and I couldn't button my pants at 6 weeks. I was in maternity clothes by 14 weeks. Everyone grows differently and every pregnancy is different so please don't stress!

I am 7 weeks along with #2 right now and still in my regular clothes, although I am pushing out of a size 2 and into a 4. No gas or bloating this time (yeah).

LV Luvr I'm with you. 6th week now and my abdomen enlargement is noticeable... or maybe I'm just too sensitive with weight and size gains esp when dieting and exercising more just before getting pregnant. I guess I've always worn tight-fitting jeans so a 2" addition to the lower abdomen is pretty obvious. Waistline still remains unchanged though.
