I need something comfortable to walk in......I'm already kind of clumsy so I'm avoiding wearing heels now.
Tory Burch Reva? Tod's ballerina? (they're not the prettiest but they look so comfortable), Ferragamo Varina? Cole Haan also has some super comfortable flats but they are not so pretty looking.......... or should I just stay with my Havaianas?? ![]() |

I like the brand Me Too for flats. They are SO comfortable with a padded foot bed and thick rubber sole. Some of the designs are really cute, and others don't do much for me. They have a bunch on Zappos. Also, there are some in the Nordies Anniversary sale that are pretty cute! I have tried the Revas and have a bunch of Cole Haan flats, and the Me Too really are the most comfortable of the bunch. I have never been pregnant, but I teach preschool and am on my feet all day . . . so I thought I would give my two cents!

Me too shoes are comfy, although they looked worn quickly for me. I actually like my Ferragamos best for comfort, but its too hot here in New Orleans for them right now. Chanel flats are pretty comfy too.

I just bought some Earth shoes from 6pm.com (a great discount shoe site). They are so comfortable I wish I had these when I was pregnant.

I've been strictly 'high heels' girl since... omg, 16 years! The only flats I had were Nike for gym and flip flops for the beach...
But since I've been ttc I decided to get some comfy shoes for summer (hoping I'd be prego by now...). I tried on many pairs at the stores, but although they were flat I didn't find them comfy at all... Untill I've put on Cole Haan Nike Air Beau! OMG, I swear I've never had more comfy shoes in my life! I had to get all three colors (ivory, chocolate, black). I promise they look MUCH BETTER IRL than in these pics... I can wear them all day long running errands and even after I get back home I don't want to take them off !!! ![]()

Don't just stick with your Havaianas! I love them too and wear them all the time, but there are more and more articles about flip flops being absolute hell for your feet. No support at all. I know by the end of my pregnancy, my arches were killing me all the time anyway (I was preggers in the winter/early spring, so wasn't wearing Havaianas at the time) and I had cracks in my heels, which I have NEVER had before.
I would actually look for something that's not totally flat, so you have a little more arch support. A pair of Taryn Rose wedges were my go-to shoes for work. I also wore a pair of her flats quite a bit (and some Prada and Choo flats also), but I found the wedges the most comfortable because they had more support. I like Cole Haan otherwise also, as you mention, and they have a really cute peep toe low wedge out right now that has the Nike Air cushioning and comes in 5-6 different colors. ETA - I have the Cole Haan Air Beaus above, and they are definitely comfy. I have them in an old tan with gold metallic trim color, and I get compliments on them every time I wear them. They're a little casual for work, at least for me though. These are the low wedges I mentioned, called Air Elly OT Ballet: Last edited by kimberf; Jul 17th, 2008 at 11:09 PM. |

Anything Cole Haan AIR... My feet slowly swelled up enough to require 1/2-1 size up, so I personally wore those with open backs (slides, mules).

I just bought two pairs of Cole Haan Woven Ballet Flats. They're beautiful (the leather is metallic, and woven intricately), and super comfy!

I agree with the ladies that recommended the Me Too's! I have 3 pairs of Me Too Nevada's that I love. They're all I've worn since being pregnant.

I wore Loeffler Randall and Marc by Marc Jacobs flats all through my pregnancy. ShopBop has some nice Loeffler Randalls on sale right now.
