all the employees walked up after i had already told him/them to put it/them away...except for the first lady. she walked up to my son as he got the ball rolled back to him by my husband, she got in his face told him not to play with the ball and took it away. why not speak to the adult that is rolling the ball? why get into a 4 yr olds face?...a stranger that he has never seen before and tell him what to do. he was playing with his father.

and yes there are rules in a society that one must follow. but sheeesh not bouncing a ball in a store is not a "rule" that i have ever heard of. being polite to others around you, saying excuse me when you bump someone, or need by, saying thank you and please...etc.

^^^ I think everyone's being a little tough on you (me included). Things happen. It seems like you have a lot on your plate and you're doing the best that you can in order to deal with things and keep everything orderly. Kids are kids and sometimes they don't always behave the right way, it happens. I understand where both you and the employee are coming from.

Hi pinkhearts

Im so sorry to hear about this awful experience! I felt so upset for you, I even went to relate ur exp to my hubby and he totally supports you and he too thinks that no one has the right to parent ur child for u, esp when they are strangers! Even teachers need to diplomatically speak to children with respect for Christ's sake!

Coming from a man's point of view, he'd said this if he were you: "Even I don't speak to my child like that, what right do you have to do that???!!"

Hope this will make u feel better!
