Boy or Girl??

I am SOOO impatient and keep trying to guess what I am having.

So I am trying to determine based on wives tales that I've heard. I'm not taking these seriously, but it is so fun to hear what people think!

Here are my stats:
-Betas all extremely high (1st over 400)
-1st trimester craved salt and vinegar exclusively
-Had mild nausea (no

)
-Measuring 5 days ahead
-14 wk doppler= 150 bmp (heart rate)

Any other symptoms that are attributed to sex?

I am guessing girl b/c at my 14 week appt or close to that my baby's HR was in the 160's and is now lower. But who knows.....I have heard that the higher the HR in the beginning the more chance of a girl....but no one can really tell. It varies with each baby.

I also had no morning sickness and have "heard" the less morning sickness means boy but I know that is not always true!! Sweetneet is an example. She had terrible morning sickness and is having a boy.

Also, sorry to hog the thread, I have heard how you are carrying the baby may mean one or the other. Higher in the abdomen for boy lower for girl.

I had horrible morning sickness...vomiting 15-20x a day...and had a boy!

I think you are having a sweet precious girl!

Well, so far the polls say 50%/ 50%... that's a big help.

I also had bad heartburn in the first tri....

I love hearing other peoples experiences and what they ended up having... keep 'em coming.

I'm just taking a wild guess, its a boy! I'm having a boy and I've been craving for salt and vinegar! Mild nausea only too! ANyways congrats!!! :)

i didn't even look at your stats, because they'd mean nothing to me anyways since i don't know all the tricks to figure it out.. but this is my wild guess.

If it's one thing I've learned, its that you can't determine gender by symptoms.
My first was high, I craved sweets heartrate was average, nausea- extreme- and it was a boy...
My second was low, I crave salts and vinegar, heart rate is high, nausea-barely- and it's still a boy... So go figure!
My second pregnancy is so totally different from the first, but I'm still having another boy! This tells me that all those old wifes tales are unfortunately "old wife's tales" and nothing more

i heard this from my mom... except one time, she was wrong because one of my best friends ended up having a girl! but for the most part, there *seemed* to be some truth to it. i can't say i believe in all these wives tales, though... i've heard others but can't remember any off the top of my head right now.

i voted on the poll for girl... but it's simply just a guess.

We are on the same boat! I've been trying to figure out the sex myself but mine are so mixed that it could easily go both ways!

I want to guess a girl b/c some of your symptoms are similar to mine & I want a girl

but i hope you baby is a happy healthy (insert gender u want)!

I also think you are having a girl

I carried high with both my girls and everyone was convinced I was having a boy! Both had high HR around 167. I had practically no morning sickness with either pregnancy.
