My cousin did the same thing, 1800 / day and the pediatrician told her she wasn't eating ENOUGH, he told her to eat 2500 / day, he said that her body was in starving mode bc she was nursing so it was storing the fat to make milk.

She did what he said and the weight fell off. Eating too little can slow your metabolism too.

^ Thanks for the advise. I'm really worried that I won't be able to lose the weight. I'm up 30 pounds from pre pregnancy and will be relying on BF to lose the weight.

LOL maybe that's what happened in my case. DD is 4 1/2 months old now and I'm negative 2-3 lbs compared to my pre-preg weight. Unfortunately, I don't have too much willpower when it comes to cravings (ice cream every other day)... and constantly feel like I'm starving!

However, although I've lost all the baby weight my tummy's bulged a bit (maybe cuz I had a C-section?) which is bumming me out!
