Surrogacy is really facisnating also, i'd never really known much about it before...except for what we'd studied in biology class.

Twins......I am not only a twin, but I have twin brothers to! talk about fun....

We are two and 1/2 years apart and my brothers are older.

My sister and I would switch classes, boyfriends, anything we could to see what we could get away with....it was awesome.

Funny thing....my nephew (her son) played baseball for a well known college and I went to all the games and people would always come up to us and say how hard it was to tell the difference. Always got us confused. Anyway, when he went off to the minors, I still went to some of the games. My sister did not. The people that knew us, would always come up to me and start talking about my nephew and asking me how my husband was....blah blah...I would then state that I wasn't my sister and they would just be so embarrassed. My sister at one point had gained weight and I had not, and I went to the Alumni game and people would come up to me and say "wow" you have lost so much weight and just hug on me. I would just laugh to myself and accept that they thought I was my sister.

Their baseball season is getting ready to start again so I am seriously thinking of putting a sign around my neck that says "I'm the other twin".

Cynthia -- congrats!!!!!!!!!!! I also am a mom of twin boys, three years old. It's an amazing treat to have twins! You will be amazed as to how people will show so much interest in them and will want to help also! Anyway, if there's anything I can do to help, please don't hesitate!!

Cynthia, I am so happy for you and that your journey to parenthood has taken a positive turn. I was reading that your surrogate lives in North Carolina, what a coincidence, so do I! North Carolinians are great folks! We have some great fertility specialists here also. My DH and I had to get some help conceiving our daughter, but nothing compared to what you and your DH went through. You are so brave to have never given up hope. That takes real strength. Surely you are being doubly rewarded for your faith. Have you gotten one of those 3D sonograms yet? I sure wish they had been around when I was pregnant with my daughter. That would have been awesome! I'll keep you and your growing family in my prayers!

Congratulations on your twins! There are so many beautiful wonders involved. Right now, we've converted their cribs into toddler beds. What do they do at night? Crawl into the same crib and cuddle to sleep as if they're in the womb!! And just this morning when my husband went to retrieve them, they were happily chatting away to each other in the same toddler bed. Their relationship is adorable!!
