Hi ladies. I just want to thank you all for your kind words and support.

My hcg went up on Wednesday so they said there was some hope and I was scheduled for an ultrasound a week later. Well, this morning, I was awakened by crazy cramps and I started to MC naturally. Another blood sample was taken and my hcg was still up. Scary.

So, I was called in for an emergency d+c to rule out an ectopic by examining the products of conception but since I had already passed quite a lot of tissue, I believed most of it was gone already. I DID NOT want a D+C because my last one was a NIGHTMARE that ended with me having to do misprostol for retained products...just a mess and painful and traumatic.

Anyway, after another ultrasound, which showed I passed the sac, doctor agreed with me to let me MC on my own. I am semi out of the woods for an ectopic but need my beta from tomorrow to confirm. As for now, MC-ing at home with a great husband and wonderful parents taking care of my son. I feel so bad that I can't be a better mom to him right now but I can barely move at the moment.

I any case, doctor told us there is no reason for our back to back losses except really crappy luck. We've had a lot of testing done on both sides so we feel confident to try again after one good cycle after this cycle is over.

For those of you that are mommies-to-be, I am wishing all of you the very best pregnancies full of nothing but joy and happiness. May all your coming days be better than the last.
