Default Things to buy

Hi, I'm 11weeks pregnant now Just wanted to ask what baby stuff I need to buy. I live on an island and the supplies here are pretty limited (and expensive). I still have to fly to the US to buy stuff. I'm making a list now of what I need. Thanks!

when are you coming - how far along will you be?
Are you planning on buying furniture as well or pretty much all the basics. . . ?

I'm going to the US either on July or August. I'll be 4/5months pregnant by that time. I'm planning to buy all the basics (except for the crib which I might just buy here).

congratulations ! I would take advantage of the end of summer sale stuff for next year. You can probably order stuff online from babygap etc. I wouldn't buy anything that will expire like formula or baby tylenol I would wait until closer to when the baby is born. I also wouldn't buy too many newborn diapers, as they outgrow them pretty quickly.

I second diana's recommendation of baby bargains. It lays out exactly what you need, don't need, and gives product reviews.

Also, the Babies R Us has a New Parents Checklist on their website. You don't necessarily need everything on their list, but its not a bad place to start.
