I have the Jané PowerMatrix plus a McLaren for running errands and travel.
I bought it 4 years ago for DS and if I had to choose again, wouldn't change the McLaren though I'd replace the Jané with a Bugaboo or Stokke...

Well, at buy buy they didn't have the orbit but they had the stokke. The stokke for one was out of our price range at the $1100 they advertised it for. However, we were lucky enough to get a demo for a couple of strollers. The stokke was nice being that it was really high and could easily serve as a highchair at a restaurant. It also was cool that the bassinet (that I can't remember if it came with it or not) attached to it at the same height allowing the parent to not have to bend down too much. Also you really didnt have to have the bassinet being that the stroller seat reclined in a way that the infant could just stay in there.

However, the uppa was really good at the price point of $669 being that it came with the bassinet, the stroller seat, the rain cover, and the mosquito net. The newer version has the extended uv canopy cover. It has a huge basket at the bottom that the stokke or the bugaboo really didnt have. It was overall pretty light and the bassinet was stand alone.

Overall I was really satisfied with the Uppa.

^TY lilstu! i also like the the basket at the bottom of the vista.
i actually thought the orbit was more $$ then the xplory but i guess they're about the same. i'm going to look more into the vista. can you attach the car seat to the vista?

I am trying to decide between the Stokke Xplory and the new UppaBaby Vista 2009 which also has an ability to adjust height to go up high like Xplory from what I hear

Need to try in person though

Hubby and I are both super tall and need the height

Planning on Peg Perego for car seat w/ adapter that works on both of these strollers

I bought the Uppa Baby Vista in Orange, SOO excited to use it! I opted for the Graco Snug Ride 32 as my car seat. It will fit on the UppaBaby with the extra adapter piece!

Tried the UppaBaby Vista and the Stokke Xplory last week at a local baby boutique. I decided on the Stokke. With me being 6ft and my husband 6'6 there was no comparison...I prefer the Stokke for our height. Some of the others allowed you to adjust the handles but the baby still sits low to the ground...I prefer their seat being higher. I read a review online from a parent that says they also use it as a high chair at home saving on one other piece of baby gear to buy. If having them sit up high is not a major factor for you then I thought the UppaBaby Vista was equally nice. Fortunately I lucked up on a new Complete Stokke Xplory over the weekend from a local ebay seller for $680 after I get my cashback from Bing.com....so that made it price competitive with the others. Picking up this weekend! I've also seen some of the Stokke Basics go on ebay lately for under $600 and then you can just buy the bassinet separately if you want one for about $200.
One thing I didn't like was that to change the baby from rear facing to front facing on the Stokke you have to take the seat out and flip it around....where on some other brands you just move the handle bar to change the facing which seems more convenient.
Note that the Stokke also works with a Maxi Cosi and a Graco car seat in addition to the Peg Perego. For those that prefer a stroller with a table and cup holder...I found sellers on ebay that sell these add-ons that fit the Stokke for under $20 each. I subscribe to Consumer Reports online and the Stokke got a good review also.
Apparantly this was Charlotte's stroller in the Sex in the City movie...I didn't notice that...I'll have to go back and rewind my DVD to find it.

Hi ladies, I need some help from you all... its another stroller question so maybe I can ask some of you here instead of opening a new thread :) I wish someone will be able to help? I see that most of you do own 2 strollers, is there a reason why you need 2 strollers? I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant, its still too early to get one but I'm looking around. So far, DH and I love the Bugaboo Frog, does anyone owns one? any bad and good reviews? Also, we might be traveling, well not often but at least once per year traveling by plane. Have anyone of you travel with the Bugaboo frog? Any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance.

It's a bit early to be picking out strollers, but I think we're getting the Brio Go.

I tried to post pics, but it doesn't work, so I'll just add a couple of links.

I think I like them mostly because they're pretty IMO. They do seem functional, too. :)

Most people have multiple strollers for convenience purposes. One "all day outing fully loaded stroller," which is usually heavy and takes up a lot of trunk space. The second stroller is usually used for errands, shopping, and in and out of the car-- these are lighter and more compact. HTH!

Our baby is due August 24th, and we just ordered our Bugaboo Cameleon last night from Albeebaby.com. We also ordered the Paul Frank blocks fabric set!

We went to a few baby stores and tried the Bugaboo Cam, Orbit Baby, and Uppa Baby Vista. At first, I was really in love with how the Orbit was able to rotate 360 degrees. The Uppa Baby Vista was just too wide. In the end, we decided on the Bug because I could not find a consensus on the Orbit toddler stroller seat- either people really loved it or really hated it.

Personally, the Orbit toddler stroller seat seemed flimsier than the Bug Cam to my husband and I, especially the foot rest and the reclining parts. To recline the Orbit toddler stroller seat, you loosen a couple of straps behind the headrest area- they look like cheap backpack straps. The footrest was just a piece of canvas fabric. The Orbit toddler car seat wasn't even an option- its big, bulky, and heavy. We couldn't find fault with the Orbit infant car seat though. We really liked that part. It just wasn't worth the money for something we would use only until he was 22 lbs (the weight limit on the infant car/stroller seat).

With the Bug Cam, he would be able to sleep laying down in the bassinet. Yes, we would have to purchase an infant car seat separately (we ordered the Peg Perego primo viaggio sip), but the toddler stroller conversion on the Bug seemed a lot more sturdy and worth the money. We figured he would be using the toddler part for a longer time than the infant part, so it made more sense for us to weigh the benefits of the toddler conversion more.

They're both great strollers, but for us, the Bug Cam made more sense. Also, we can use the Peg Perego with the Bug using the adaptors.

For subway rides, we use the Maclaren Triumph as it is light and easy to fold.

I'm thinking about getting a Bob and I have the Chicco Cortina travel system now. DD is only 3 months so it might be too early to go jogging right now. I've read that you have to wait until at least 6 months to really start jogging. But do i still need to put her in the infant car seat at 6 month of age? Then I will also have to get an adapter for the car seat and probably wont use it for that long cuz it's for infant car seat. So should i just wait until she is one year old to get the jogging stroller?
