DH and I are going with the Baby Jogger City Classic. WAAYY too early for me to even think about these things, but I'm a planner by heart (yet, this pregnancy wasn't planned...hmm), so figuring the major items I want helps me to relax LOL. We wrote out what features we wanted and it matched almost all of them.

Quick bump! I'm in the market for a nice stroller that I can actually fit in my trunk's opening (our Graco Quattro doesn't fit into my car) and I went looking the other day with the intention of checking out the Bugaboo Bee. Well, as always happens, I totally fell in love with the Quinny Buzz, and I'm fairly sure it fits in my trunk. I see that there are couple reviews already in here about it, and I was wondering if anyone else had any comments, or the posters who already own them had anything they wanted to add about them. In particular, I am wondering if it can be folded up with the seat removed? And does that make it any smaller than folding it with the seat still attached?

You can fold up the Quinny Buzz with seat removed, but why would you want to do that? I guess it would make the frame/base thinner without the seat, but then you end up with two pieces to fit in your trunk. The things that I've heard complained about are the back wheels and the basket. People complained about the back wheels getting caught in aisle or rolling over things. The back wheels are wide, but it doesn't bother DH and me b/c it just takes some manuveuring and this stroller is highly manuveurable. I know a lot people think the basket is too small, but I had squeezed quite a bit down there when shopping. |

The problem I keep running into is that the opening on my trunk is only 12 inches wide (Mazda RX-8). All the dimensions of the Quinny say it'll fold down to 33 X 24 X 9, which would be perfect. And if the seat comes off, it might be even smaller- and I don't mind putting it back together if I can just get it into my trunk! |

I have the Graco Literider which I got off Kijiji and it does the job well for the price and functions - basket, cupholders, extra mesh pockets on the side. Also comes with an infant carrier which is the most important item for the first 6 months. The person I bought it from barely used it because her kid was a winter baby. I am still using it for my second baby whenever my first one is in daycare and have abused it quite a bit outdoors with the extensive walking and it is still durable!!!
If I had to choose all over again, it would be the Peg Perego Aria - folds very compact. Good for vacation and roomy basket for storage. The handle bar folds down so the stroller fits very well in a small car. Now, I have the Aria Twin which is a double stroller and folds the same way as the single one. Also very light for a double stroller but no cupholders or extra storage pockets but the most economical one out there for a double stroller and the size after it is folder can still fit into a small trunk!!! My sister-in-law bought the higher end, I believe it was the Quinny stroller. I personally did not think it was worth the money cuz the basket is small, there is no cup holders and when you have a baby, you bring lots of stuff out with you which doesn't fit well in the small basket - you can't even put a diaper bag in it. You would have to hang it on the handle bar. The only pros is because the frame is aluminium and lightweight. There's nothing else that comes with it. You have to buy attachments separately including the infant carrier, cupholders and all that will add up in price. Nowadays, I haven't seen too many moms with babies taking public transit because it is not convenient so the lightweight strollers did not matter to me because I drive everywhere. |

For those of you that walk a lot, I highly recommend the BOB Revolution jogger. I have yet to jog with it, but I walk all the time as I live in NYC and do not own a car. It handles sidewalks, cobblestone streets, and dirt paths like a dream. You barely have to push and my son barely feels the bumps.
For subway rides, we use the Maclaren Triumph as it is light and easy to fold. |

Forgot to mentioned that the bigger the wheels, the better it is for outdoors. I found the wheels on my Graco literider was better when walking outside than the smaller wheels on the Aria Twin. So it depends how much you spend outdoors compared to indoors at the mall etc. I didn't really have a choice when it came for the double, the others were mega heavy for me.

The U.S. Zapp comes with 4 wheels and a storage basket. I have 3 wheels with no storage basket (bought it in Belgium). Quinny is a Dutch brand. Unlike US, you will hardly see Europeans carrying everything (coffee, cell phone, diaper bags, toys, etc.) in their strollers. That's why Quinny strollers have small storage baskets. If you are looking for big storage basket, then American brands may be the best. |

We just bought the UppaBaby 2009 Vista. We were going to go with the Bugaboo Chamelion but seeing as how little tot will be a winter baby I figured I won't likely use it till spring and I actually liked the Uppa's features and ease of use more. It was around the same price as the bee and frog (maybe a smidge more) but I think it will be perfect for us and I love it's one hand fold option and that it stands on it's own.

I already have a Graco Quattro, which I hate- giant and hard to steer even though it does have a lot of storage space (which I don't need), and it doesn't fit in my trunk. Hence my looking at the Buzz, which I did wind up getting last week. And after a week, I (and my husband) like it even more than we thought we would. My almost 4 yr old has been insisting on rides in it every evening, and she fits in it perfectly. Won't have the opportunity to use the Dreami Cot till September, but I am impressed by how easily I can switch the seats back and forth, and how easy it is to steer with one hand. It seems very similar to the Cameleon we test drove at the stroller store. And, it fits great in my car! I kept reading reviews about how big it was- but they must be coming from people who have never tried to pack up a Graco before- now THAT is a huge stroller, lol! I think we'll invest in a couple of the cup holders for it, and a snack tray to attach to the front when we need it, and we'll be good to go. I still think we might look at the Bee or the Zapp to have an additional quick-fold stroller, since we'll have 2 children, but I have to say, I'm loving the Buzz right now! |

we have the quinny buzz and the maclaren techno.. in hindsight, if i knew i was gong to get the buzz later on, i'd have gotten the maclaren triumph instead because it's lighter. i'm very happy with both! i use the buzz for downtown walks, and i just keep the techno in the car all the time for when we go out. though these days it stays in the car, it's easier just to put ds in the beco baby carrier instead if it's a short grocery store trip.

i live in the city so the giant stroller is a PITA (getting it in and out of the car or a cab, maneuvering through city streets and tight store aisles, taking it on the train). i when my kids were infants i used a carseat carrier and when they could sit up (5 months) i exclusively used one of the lightweight macclarens.

wow.. ok now I'm a little worried! I felt I had done so much research, and I read the the Zippy by Inglesina was the best out there. But Noone here even mentioned it? Anyone have one or can you tell me why this wasn't one of your picks? I haven't bought it yet, and will look closer into the others mentioned here!
