It's also available with a bassinet, which makes the stroller much more like a pram if you're out doing some serious wandering or shopping. The bassinet also hooks up to a short rocker, so if you're in the house, you can put baby in that so you can walk about with him or her right there with you in arms reach, but comfy. Ingenious.

We have a snap and go for quick trips with a little baby, a Maclaren Triumph for longer trips and we just purchased an EasyWalker Duo as our big double stroller. LOVE IT. It's heavy, but it's easy to manuver and rides like a dream. You can also buy carry cots for it (to turn it into a pram).

We have this and I love it....for just the reason you stated. however, i've noticed now that she's getting older, she wants to face forward in the stroller (she keeps picking her head up and trying to look where she's being pushed. heheh)

I have the Graco Quattro tour stroller too...I haven't used this yet, but I'm thinking it's going to be huge and taking up lots of room in my trunk. I'm thinking of getting an umbrella type stroller that has a reclining feature...leaning towards the Chicco one I think.

^ I got the orbit bassinet but only used it a handful of times. I'm actually giving it away to a friend, hopes she gets more use out of it!

We bought both the bugaboo cameleon and bee, with the intention of keeping only one.

We're due at the end of May and are fairly certain we're keeping the bee.
We really like it because we live right by the beach and walk a lot and the stroller has great suspension, but it's also easy to fold and take with us (which is important since we live in CA and drive a lot as well). I wanted something that I could easily fold and get in the trunk.

I also like the fact that we can put the carseat in the stroller (with carseat adapter) and that the baby can face me and can recline in the seat.

Have fun and good luck stroller shopping!

We got the Quinny Buzz. Our baby loves the soft cushioning and the hubby loves how the stroller opens up with one touch of the handle. The only downside is that the under basket is pretty much non-functional...
We use the Maclaren Quest for the mall as our light weight stroller.

Picking the stroller should fit your lifestyle and needs. We chose the Quinny cuz we take lots of walks outdoors, and the Quest for shopping and short trips and was easy to maneuver. Let us know what you decide to get!

We bought the Peg Perego Pliko 3 (I think that's the model), and I really felt like the infant carrier that went with it was the safest choice for our baby, but ... the stroller is heavy and bulky and I always have a hard time folding and unfolding it. It took me forever to figure out how to even open it up the first time -- the instruction manual sucked. My sister is pregnant, and she got the City Mini stroller, which is SO much easier to manuever. I always run into things with my Peg Perego because the wheels kind of get stuck, also. So I don't think I'd buy the PP again.

We also have the Quinny Buzz. We got it b/c DH loves the "hydraulic" to open the stroller. So funny that your hubby feels the same way.

I thought about that too. But the gal in the boutique I registered in was really pushing a Moses basket, and my DH looked green over it - I think maybe he thought it would tip over - so when we saw the bassinet, he jumped at it! Granted, the owner is a friend of the family and she threw in the rocker base for free

I have the orbit too. I also bought the bassinet and it actually comes with the rocker base. no extra cost for the rocker base. My DS grew out of it in 3 months and i didn't have a chance to use it with the stroller b/c he was a winter baby and we had major snow.

I love the concept of the orbit but it's very heavy.

We're currently debating between the UppaBaby Vista and the I'Coo Targo. The Peg Perego Uno was #3 on the list, but it seems much bulkier than the other 2.

Anyone have the UppaBaby or I'Coo and can chime in on their thoughts? TIA!

I went with a Graco deluxe because it was safe, worked with my infant seat and had a full size basket. The light version Graco had just felt flimsy to me. Plus mine collapses with one hand in one quick motion. I love it! The model is French roast.

I bought the Graco twin stroller. The selling point for me was I loved the fact that both car seats snapped into the stroller (no need to wake a sleeping baby). I researched a lot of strollers and at the time that was the best one (5 years ago)
