Time heals more than anything else. They will fade to silvery marks quickly enough.

My stretch marks are what I call my "battle scars", if it wasn't for them I wouldn't even know I had been pregnant but they are very unsighltly and I would like to reduce the appearance, knowing they won't totally go away. Stretch marks are hereditary in my family and I've gotten them before when I've lost and gained weight but these are on another level. My stomach looks like railroad tracks, lol. |

I didn't get any stretch marks until 3 DAYS before I delivered.
And of all places, I got them on my thighs (!!) but none on my belly. My friend was fine until her 38th week and baby dropped in her pelvis - she had pretty bad stretch marks on the sides of her belly from that. I didn't use any oils or creams that diligently throughout my pregnancy. I only applied a bit when my belly itched. |

Is there any product out there to get rid of current stretch marks? Does laser therapy work?

I've heard so many different opinions... and I've bought about 4 different creams. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what works for stretch mark prevention? I'm 18 weeks pregnant and don't want stretch marks. Any help would be great! thank you :)

You may want to do some searches b/c there are a lot of threads out there but I am 36 weeks and I use a "cocktail" of Palmer's Cocoa butter for Stretchmarks and Bio Oil twice a day (sometimes three times a day if I get itchy) and I do not have 1 single stretchmark. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way.
