Time heals more than anything else. They will fade to silvery marks quickly enough.

Thanks, I lost 10 lbs in the 1st trimester due to extreme morning sickness in the 1st trimester with a return of MS in the 3rd trimester, total gain was 17 lbs. I hopped on the scale earlier this week to find I weighed less than when I became pregnant. My friend lost all her weight and then gained it back while staying home on maternity leave plus some and blamed it on the midnight feedings and eating lots of junk. I have all healthy foods and fruits and produce in my fridge. I don't want to go backwards and start gaining.

Thanks for the compliment, I can't resist putting HK in every pic with Kayla, they look so cute together.

My stretch marks are what I call my "battle scars", if it wasn't for them I wouldn't even know I had been pregnant but they are very unsighltly and I would like to reduce the appearance, knowing they won't totally go away. Stretch marks are hereditary in my family and I've gotten them before when I've lost and gained weight but these are on another level. My stomach looks like railroad tracks, lol.

I didn't get any stretch marks until 3 DAYS before I delivered. And of all places, I got them on my thighs (!!) but none on my belly.

My friend was fine until her 38th week and baby dropped in her pelvis - she had pretty bad stretch marks on the sides of her belly from that.

I didn't use any oils or creams that diligently throughout my pregnancy. I only applied a bit when my belly itched.

Is there any product out there to get rid of current stretch marks? Does laser therapy work?

Default What's the best stretch mark cream?
I've heard so many different opinions... and I've bought about 4 different creams. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what works for stretch mark prevention? I'm 18 weeks pregnant and don't want stretch marks. Any help would be great! thank you :)

You may want to do some searches b/c there are a lot of threads out there but I am 36 weeks and I use a "cocktail" of Palmer's Cocoa butter for Stretchmarks and Bio Oil twice a day (sometimes three times a day if I get itchy) and I do not have 1 single stretchmark. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way.
