I use this oil called Mother's Special Blend. It has all natural ingredients which includes almond oil, pecan oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter and vitamin E...so far so good!

I've been using palmers during the day and also Lush's massage oil bars at night, but where do you find "Bio-oil"?

When I went to my aesthetician when I found out I was preggers she said start NOW. It takes a while for your skin to get really hydrated and not to wait. I started around 6 weeks and so far not one...still praying. I did get some in puberty so I know that I have a greater chance of getting them but I'm 7 months now and not 1. I use Palmer's Belly Butter ALL OVER my body. I fee like a giant oil slick afterwards. LOL!

f your skin does not have good elasticity then you will want to start as soon as possible. Waiting until you start getting big it might be too late, i started right away and so far no stretch marks.

I am the same way I had a few from puberty and I use the palmers all over my body except my hips, breasts and belly which I use the bio-oil. It has made the old ones from puberty disappear and keeps my skin very moisturized. And it says it does not stay clothing and it is true. You would think that it would because it is oil but it doesn't so I am just 100% impressed and if I do get stretchies I know it will fade them right out so I can not see them any way.

The girls are all right start now and keep hydrated

I recently bought Palmer's Cocoa butter body lotion and it smelled of chocolate which i didn't like at all. I wanna try something different but with either no smell or a good smell.

I have Palmer's Cocoa butter massage lotion (which is super thick) and mine doesn't smell like chocolate...it actually doesn't really have a scent at all.

Gals you can't go past Belli Elasticity Belly Oil. I have had 7 girlfriends use it and none have had stretchmarks. It seems to be amazing stuff because every other review has been awesome about it too...

Those who don't get stretch marks will credit the oils and creams or hydration (that one is the only one that even makes remote sense). Creams only penetrate the top layer of skin and for dryness, keep the top 'closed' to not allow moisture to escape. Stretch marks are from the bottom layers of skin.

But if it makes you feel good and helps with the itching and gives you hope, by all means do it, but you'll only become a *believer* if you remain stretch mark free...and well... that doesn't prove it was the cream - sorry.

Now... just to show. My sister (who got stretch marks on her boobs when they grew) got ONE tiny one in her pubic area when she was pregnant with #1. She gained 60 lbs and was HUGE. She used no creams or did so sporadically.

I had TERRIBLE itching and gained 11 lbs (6 lbs were in the last week from water retention). I started out overweight - that's why. I used creams all the time for my itchy belly and I have a railroad of stretch marks - like my mom. I got MORE with my next pregnancy because he was a bigger baby and so they got higher this time. Oh, and I was very hydrated... I was good about the water.

But, they fade and as my sweet DH said, "it's a small price to pay for having a baby." He could care less. It's my 'mark' of motherhood.

I haven't heard of those but I swear by bio oil. It faded (to the point you can not see them) old stretches that were 11+ years old.
