ive_flipped. Try online at like Target.com, Walgreens.com? It DEF helped me with the itchyness. That was one thing that I hated. But..alas. I still got them. There is really nothing you can do about it, but moisturizing helps SO much There is no Target here in Anchorage either, but I went to Wal-mart two days ago, and the had the whole Curel line there That's weird that yours does not!! How annoying!

The sooner the better. The more you use it the better the results. This is what I have found anyways. Some say it doesn't matter because stretch marks are genetic. I think it works though! I use Belly Butter by Naked Paint.

I slather on Palmer's Cocoa butter 2-3 times a day and layer it with Bath & Body works Body Butter. I started this routine around 10 weeks. This is my first so I am not sure if it will work or not but it can't hurt.

It's best to do it after you get out of the shower to reapply moisture. I think some people are more prone to them and it is genetically linked. But if you are prone to them I'd lather up. It could help lessen them. Worth a try in my opinion.

I agree with the pp. While there is a strong genetic componenet to whether or not you will get strech marks, it cannot hurt to try to head them off before they start. I'd start using the stretch mark cream now, because if you wait until they appear the best you can hope for is for them to fade. It is better to prevent than treat if at all possible.

Creams and lotions may do nothing, but it is certainly worth a try! Start now, and good luck!

I think the other thing is to gain your weight steadily...it will help your body not have to go through major rapid change. Good luck!

Start when your baby bump is beginning to show, approx at the 4th month (15-16th wk). You can use it earlier though I don't think it will be of much help then. I use Palmer's.

I don't think it can hurt, the earlier, the better. Plus, it will give you a chance to try out different products to see what you like. You'll be amazed at how some of the smells of the creams will make you sick, so you will want to find something that works for you. I have heard really good things about Bio Oil. I have not tried it myself.

I've started using the cream on my 4th month (when my belly started to show). But to tell you the truth, I've used it more to the fact that my skin became dry, especially after shower. Stretch marks are genetic and also if you gain weight too fast, there is a much greater chance of getting them. Just moisturize, don't overeat and exersize (not fanatically, though) - it will do a great job for you during the labor and also after the birth!

I started the moment I found out so at about 3.5 weeks and moisturized from head to toe.

FYI: I didn't get a single stretch mark! I gained almost 50 pounds and my mom and sister both have a ton of stretch marks from their pregnancies.

Palmers is wonderful stuff! I began using it at month 1, and not sparingly! I gained A LOT of weight but did not incur a single stretch markI do believe, though, genetics pertaining to skin elasticity has something to do with it.

Palmer's is great but the best I have found so far and it really does lessen scars and existing stretch marks is Bio-Oil. I love the stuff!
