Default Sitting in Grandpa's chair...
So today was pretty eventful!

We went to get babes coming home outfit. Problem is...we don't know what we're having! Our son is 7...we didn't know with him, either and I remember having a yellow outfit that he came home in!

Today...there were no yellow outfits. No green outfits...no gender basic outfits! Apparently everyone finds out ahead of time these days! So we decided on a blue and pink outfit! When going through the checkouts the cashier asked us if we were having twins! No...we just don't know what we're having!!! LOL!!! It was kind of a cute moment!

I am due November 21. My son woke me up today SO happy that it's November! "Because baby is coming this month!!!" Holy donkey balls...you aren't a kiddin'! Reality set in a LOT for me today.

So after our shopping and getting all the groceries put away, I set off to babes room. I went through all of the presents from the shower and got the clothes basket ready to wash everything in Dreft. Too bad I didn't get Dreft today!

I still have so much to do in babes room...put the crib and a bookshelf together. That room became our horrific laundry-catch-all room and I know that I can't put getting stuff organized off anymore!

My grandfather passed away three years ago the week of Thanksgiving. I am due two days before the anny of his death. Sitting in babes room is my Grandpa's rocking chair.

Already emotional, I took the plunge. I sat in it for the first time. I just rocked, rubbed my belly and just looked around.

This is really happening!!!

I called my Mom this past week to find out what day he passed away on for sure...my sisters son was born on the anniversary of our Grandmothers death...I am kind of hopeful that this baby comes on the anny of my Grandpa's death. Only because...its just so super special! Life and death...and the circle of life I think! :)

Aw your story is sweet. I asked my mother when her mother passed away as well. They were very close and I knew she passed away in December, and I'm due in December.

I have so much to do too. Our baby's room was a freefall. There was so much 'junk' in there that it felt I would never get the room finished. Well, it's still not finished but at least I see progress. And like you, I still have lots to do!

Enjoy those special times in the baby's room. Lately I have been keeping the light on in our baby's room at night when we go to bed. I don't do it every night but I like the feeling of waiting for her to come home to us.

That is cute about the two baby outfits. FYI - Kohl's had a bunch of neutral things when I was in there last week.

This month is either going to go by very quickly or very slowly. Sending you some speedy delivery vibes!

Thanks everyone, SO much!!!

I wish I was near a Kohl's!!! Or anything, really! All I have is Wal-Mart, Target and K-Mart!!! Small towns suck when it comes to shopping!!!
