Question Silly question: How do you adequately clean fabric rattle toys?
It says on label to wipe clean only, but that doesn't sound very clean to me as fabric can harbor dustbunnies, dried saliva and germs. I'm sure your babies have at least one of such toys, how do you clean them? Is it safe to machine wash? I'm referring to toys like Learning Curve's Lamaze Freddie the Firefly.

what i do is wash with warm or hot water and a tiny bit of clorox bleach... but then again, i do that with all my towels and bath mats.

for your toy, i would place it in a lingerie bag and wash it on gentle. then dry it on the lowest heat seating you have.

I always threw that kind of thing in the wash - but I air dried them afterward. I would not wipe anyting down with hand sanitiser if I thought it might end up in a little one's mouth

i was looking this up last night since mack has strep. you can spray them with half vinegar and water and then wipe them down. also to kill germs put them in a bag and then pop them in the freezer for a few hours or in the dryer on the highest setting. im just worried that the dryer may melt the rattle or other plastic parts.

I'd put them in the washing machine and then air dry them (I also did this with a 'squeaker' fabric toy once and it still squeaked afterwards!)
