I think the larger diaper size might help. How much does your baby weigh now? The leaks/explosions stopped completely once we moved up to the Pampers 16-25 lb size (I think that's the right weight range... we store them in diaper stackers so I don't have the package right now).

I totally echo the bigger diaper suggestion as well as going with Pampers! I have had GREAT experiences with Pampers (Huggies did NOT cut it).

This now has me completely paranoid about baby carriers, swings, etc. Though I have been getting a good giggle thinking about how DH will react to the first poo-splosion that he has to deal with!

I've had it happen to me when he is strapped in his carseat, or when he is sitting in my lap. My only suggestion is to change him right before putting him in the carrier so the diaper will have maximum absorbency. That usually helps!
When this happens.. it probably occured about a handful of times... it's bath time for baby! lol. It's pretty much a nightmare clean up for me, but my little one just smiles.. its priceless. |

I found whenever I had a problem with explosions that going up a diaper size usually worked. I never used my carrier though!
