Default pregnancy cravings? Lets dish ;)

O.K. so I am due March 25th with my third.
One of my GF's is a few weeks ahead of me and the other day I was eating green olives while enjoying my (one) cup of coffee for the day.
My GF almost puked right on her keyboard!

With the others it's been sweets but it seems to be the salty this time.
I do also enjoy lots of fruit, but it has to be juicy and ripe. It must be teh water I crave.

Not to mention all the stuff that turns me off!

Lets hear it ladies!!

I am 38 weeks and really have not had any cravings. There are some times that there is a certain food that sounds good at a certain time, but nothing that I want all the time...

Peaches. I have totally been craving peaches lately. I have also been craving icy drinks, like slurpees or icees. I gave in the other day and bought one. I had 4 sips and threw it away b/c it was too sweet and I couldn't tolerate it.

ugh! ^^ don't you hate that? When something sounds sooo good you go through the trouble to get it and take two bites/sips and yuck.
Such a let down.

Cravings change every few hrs everyday. But there are some foods that never change -- plain macaroni, plain white bread, and buttered flake bread. Strangely I never liked these things prior to pregnancy :(

When I was in my third trimester with my twins I craved (and this is really sad), McDonalds Quarter pounder with cheese meals and full sugar cokes. Prior to my third trimester I hadn't eaten anything from McDonalds for 5/6 years (after reading Fast Food Nation), but I guess I was going for calories and sugar, because it was my absolute favourite meal for the last few weeks of pregnancy. Since having my children 3 years ago I have only had 2 McDonalds meals because, in normal life, I really can't stand them.

I'm not pregnant right now but when I was pregnant with DD I craved scrambled eggs in the first trimester and Mexican food in my third trimester(I didn't have any strong cravings in my second trimester).

don't fret preggie! your appetite will come back and you can join in on the things that only you can stomach!
I'm still on the tail end of the morning sickness, it has to be something that sounds good, like I can't just sit down and eat anything. I hoping those days come sooner!!!!

Right now I'm siting eating a bowl of mini wheats before bed cuz I know I will wake up later with a grumbly tummy..

When I was pregnant with my son, now 8 mos. old, I craved peanut butter. I absolutely hate pb but couldn't get enough of it while pregnant. I lived on pb and crackers. I hated the smell of chicken and even up to now I haven't regained my appetite for chicken :(

I craved something diferent everyday. During my 2nd pregnancy I craved steamed broccoli, beef stir fry from the chineese place and really hot sauce. I could not get enough of it. I did swell up like a balloon because of the salt though.
This time, I am now about 8 w and can't eat. Everything makes me sick. I am living on cheetos, crackers and rusks. I hope I feel better soon ...
