like all others stated...it's normal. the uterus has to stretch and expand...you will also have cramps after the birth...i think they are more painful. but that time the uterus has to shrink back down. and if you breastfeed....OUCH!! they can be killer.

I had cramping in the first trimester with all three of my pregnancy's. It's completly normal

I remember I got cramps or rather pains throughout my abdomen area. It hurt so much once, I couldn't even stand up. I was so scared, but it passed after a few weeks. As long as there is no bleeding, I see no reason to worry.

i haven't experience any cramps yet but my gf did and it was due to dehydration.

I'm in my 6th week and haven't experienced any cramping yet, other than after a 30min brisk walk, which will be a dull ache for like 1-3 seconds and it's gone. I do force down about 10 glasses of cold water a day though, helps keep my fever at bay too.

LvLuvr- Are you still having the cramps? I am almost 5 weeks and it has started. Some days nothing at all others like AF is coming. And like you I have grown almost a whole cup size and the hurt lol

I am 7.5 weeks pregnant and have had cramps for almost 3 weeks now, I am even having some lower back pain too.
