Hi ladies.

Coachmommy - i'm sorry nausea is back.

We're finding out Saturday, May 23 if we're having a boy or girl. DH and I are excitedly counting down.

Lets talk strollers. anyone else doing research? Right now our contenders are Orbit and Britax.

How fun Wasabi! Can't wait to hear what you're having!

A stroller was one of the first thiings I looked at a WHILE back LOL

We're going with a Baby Jogger Classic, paired with a Graco Snugride 32 carseat. DH wanted a 3 wheeler, with a CUP HOLDER and a kiddie console (whatever else I wanted, he didn't care too much about) and I was concerned with having a lightweight (under 25lbs) stroller with an adjustable, one hand pushing handle (DH is 6'2", I'm 5'5"), compact fold and a huge sunshade. I know I could have probably gotten a complete travel system for way less, but I didn't like any of them and they were bulky. Besides, I like thinking I have the best of both worlds.

The other one we were looking at was an Inglesina, but I couldn't get over the double handle bar things.

We already have a graco quattor deluxe stroller from DS 2 yrs back, so we'll just re-use that i guess. It comes with the graco safety new carseat, the one that clips onto the seat belt instead of just "holing it in" like the older ones did... I really am happy with the seat, the stroller is rather heavy but folds so nice and easy... If i'd have to buy a new stroller now, I'd also go for a 3-wheeler, they seem more comfy and more manueverable- I just have a jeep 3 wheeler for "later on" (my 2.9 yr old is still riding it when i m shoppping lol) It also seems a better investment than a regular stroller, bkz its more likely that you'll need a jogging stroller later on when the baby is older (like mine) and you are gonna have to spend extra money to get one, where you could have bought the 3wheeler... that's at least how it happend with us, and next time i'd be wiser if i'd have to :)

nausea: out of the blue i had to run to the bathroom today to do*you know what*, bkz i crossed my legs while eating noodles and tummy didn't like that lol... crazy... but i believe it only gets better

We have a Graco quattro deluxe as well. When my baby's born, I'll switch to my Graco double (unsure of the model). I love the quattro bc of its easy folding mechanism and full size basket.

ok, so i have to admit. i'm a weakling. i have no upper arm strength whatsoever.

How heavy are the graco snugrides? I'm only partial to the Orbit because of the "handles" on the side I could easily grip that, and its easy docking system. When DH and I visited Babies R Us, we couldn't figure out how to unlock the Graco snugride from the stroller, at least i think it was a Graco one. We were having trouble and were laughing that we left a trail of "I can't lift out of stroller".

I still have a while to go, will do more research or start lifting light weights... :)

^^ Depending on which one you get, I think they're 7-9lbs + weight of baby. We're getting the 32, only because of the higher weight and height capacity (trying to use it for as long as we can before we move on to a bigger seat LOL).

Anyone been feeling their kiddos move yet? I was surprised to have felt mine a day before I turned 16 weeks because it's my first and I'm uh, overweight. LOL Since then, it's been easier to identify when the kid's been moving. So exciting! DH is disappointed he can't feel anything.

I've noticed it last night on the couch and when i m quietly in bed. With my first one i started feeling him really early, around 14 wks, and with this one its not much at all... :( I guess I gained some pounds after my first, that may be it. I wish I'd feel it more...

A few days ago I started feeling some kicks. It's mostly felt at night when I'm relaxing.

Has anyone tried to listen to the baby with a stethoscope? I tried and can't really hear a thing.

I think i felt the baby move but i'm not sure. I keep thinking its gas.

please ladies, do describe these feelings. maybe what i'm feeling is the baby moving and not gas. hahaha.

I'm begging my MIL to let me borrow her stethoscope but she's against me borrowing it. Maybe when I see her this weekend I'll ask if we can listen in.

Tomorrow is US. can't wait to hear what our little bundle is going to be.

I haven't tried the stethoscope at all. I think I'd get confused between my heartbeat and the kiddo's heartbeat.

Wasabi- Mine feels like fluttering in my lower abdomen area (very different from gas). Kinda like a very light, rapid tickling (it makes me think the kid's making waves in the uterus when it's being REALLY active). It moves around too. The kid favors the middle or to the right of the middle. I feel it more when I'm stretched out on a reclining chair, or sitting forward with my feet apart.

Can't wait to hear what you're having!!!
