I think we all are wanting the same things, lol. I have been dying for fruit, anything salty and PIZZA!! OMG I love me some pizza right now. I've been limiting it to ones I make myself with whole grain thin crust, fresh veggies, light cheese and lots of garlic. I swear though I could eat three a day if I could. Has anyone else gotten a bit grossed out by meat? I seem to be having a hard time lately with any kind of meat. I was a veg for years and only recently (a year or so) before getting preggers started eating it again but lately I can't even look at it.

Well, our decorating is still going super slow but I'm aiming to have it finished (at least the paint, ceiling fan, molding, carpet) done by the first of June. I'm waiting to paint until we know what we're having and hopefully we'll find that out on the 26th. Then it will be a mad rush to get the painters in to finish, then the carpet because the nursery furniture will be delivered/assembled around the first. I think I have paint colors narrowed down for either sex though which should help.

We went for our 17 wk checkup last Monday and everything was going right according to schedule said Doc. We'll go back on the 26th for our US and I am so giddy I can hardly wait. I had to have an US at 5wks so I'm ready to see baby again.

Anyone else having an US coming up?

Happy Early Mother's Day everyone! DH sent flowers to my work and had the sweetest card attached to it. I totally teared up!

Can't say I've had much along the lines of cravings really except for sugar. I have to have a mini candy bar always in the morning and again in the afternoon, otherwise I feel like crap until I do.

Life actually seems pretty normal...except for the bump. I have my next OB appt. in a week and a half, so hopefully I'll have another US and maybe they can be a little more definitive on the sex of the baby.

Hello ladies! I had my level 2 u/s today at the peri. Everything looks great. Baby wasn't cooperating so we couldn't get a clear view of the 4 chambers of the heart. I'm measuring right on track at 18 weeks 4 days.

So yes we did find out and we're having...

a boy!!!! He will join my son who I'm sure will be a great big brother, yay!

The strangest part for me is, that i m not craving anything sweet, whatsoever. If something sweet standing there i might take one single bite, but that's it... compared to the salty stuff- thats just deeelicious lol. I do love fruit and have cravings for liquid... mostly frut juices (you know the dole fruit juices with mango, orange) ... I haven't had an US yet and I m thinking my first US will be beginning of June... untill then I m keeping my juice box close by

Congrats No Snow!

I had my first fruit craving of my pregnancy and was ITCHING to get off work so I could go get myself an apple. And then I grabbed a watermelon while I was at it LOL... My cravings are random (one thing's for sure, I love spicy food!), but the most unique craving I had was for asian vegan chicken drummettes. Just a TAD hard to find. LOL

Coach- when do you go in for your first US?

Tiki- Good luck! Here's to hoping for team blue for yah!

I have my next OB appt. next tuesday (the 19th)...I think this appt.'s with my OB so if they give me a US I'll ask him his opinion. I'm still holding onto a dream of Team Pink, but my NP was so quick to say it was a boy at the last appt. which made sense on the screen, yet... I can't shake off the fact that I was supposed to be a boy too LOL.

Does anyone know which month they switch from the transvaginal US to the regular US? Not that I don't mind the transvaginal, it's just that I'd feel more "normal" if I had a regular US.

NoSnow - congratulations!

Coachmommy - I'm all about the fruit cravings too and OMG on the fruit juice. I used to hate Orange Juice. I now can't get enough of the stuff. I try to buy the freshly squeeze stuff if i can find them. the brand Simply Orange is my fav. thus far.

tikilove - good luck with US. our next US is May 23. Can't wait. hopefully baby will cooperate and show us the goods.

Irainei - i would imagine a clearer picture if they used the vaginal US during the early stage of pregnancy. I know my with my first US they tried the "normal" US but couldn't get a clear picture so they switched to the vagina US. Hopefully your next visit.... DH was in the room with they did the vagina US. DH was a little shocked by the process.

Yup! The past few days have been super tough for me nausea wise and I could not figure out why. I was sick a little bit in the beginning of the pregnancy but it seemed to go away after 10 weeks or so and now it seems to be back with a vengeance.
I hope you feel better soon

Coach and Tater- I hope you guys feel better soon! It doesn't sound like a lot of fun to be sick all the time :(

I had my OB appt yesterday and got to hear the heartbeat for the first time! I was so excited (even more so than the ultrasounds LOL). It kinda put things into perspective for some reason. At any rate, we officially find out what we're having June 15! A month seems so far away, but everything has been a blur, I'm sure we'll have our kids before we know it!
