That is terrible news. I am so sorry. The same thing happened to me in November. Just remind yourself that its nature's way to take care of itself when something isnt right. Wishing you the best.

Isn't it too early to say that the heart is not beating? I've heard many times that they didn't see/hear the heart beat untill around 10/11 weeks?!

How are you feeling, I mean physically, do you have any problems, any certain pains? It is very well possible that something is just off, that you are indeed only 6 weeks along and it's too early for the heartbeat to be seen. I would seek a second opinion just in case.

Sometimes health providers do make mistakes for many different reasons- and it's always better to get a second opinion before taking action. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything will be well!!! Keeping you in my mind and prayers!!! Keep us posted, I believe that anything is possible, and i hope that something good will happen out of this! Stay strong!

I had an ultra sound at 6wks, the doctor miss calculated, based on my last period. She thought I was further along and couldn't find a heart beat. I had to return few weeks later, measured at 8wks and confirm a heart beat. Hope that this will turn out to be similar to my story...
