anyway, just be glad that for most women, this annoying nausea goes away after 1st trimester. mine didn't really go away completely until week 16, but by week 12 i was feeling somewhat better for the most part (just would feel sick in the mornings mostly). |

2nd pregnancy had me nauseous all the time... I rocked in my glider quite a bit and it helped plus sucking on some sour hard candies really helped in my case. I guess the motion and pucker sensations drew my attention away from the nausea.

I am in my 12th week, and the nausea is still here...hard lemon drop candy has been helping...some days are good..I can actually eat a meal without feeling nauseous! some days are really bad where all i wanna do is curl up into a ball and die...I'm hoping this all goes away soon! Plus to make things worse - I'm sick! So this week I've been nauseous with a runny nose, coughing and sneezing!
Hang in there!

CONGRATS!
I lived on chicken broth, ginger ale, preggie pops and saltines during my first trimester! I still carry preggie pops in my purse for those rare occasions that I still get nauseous. |

Hi Ladies,
I'm new to this forum but figured I'd offer my advice as well. :) Preggo pops have worked wonders for me! I found Ginger Tea, Salt & Vinegar chips & ice water helped too. Congrats to all you soon to be mommies! :O) |

I saw someone else say it but ice cold lemonade and bread worked for me too!!! I also did sea bands (they helped a lot) and altoids. The peppermint kept the nausea at bay.

It's been a looooong while since I was in this condition, but I remember well in my first pregnancy how sick I was, especially in the mornings. It lasted about 3 months. Keeping saltines on my bedside table and eating them before I actually got out of bed helped. Later in my pregnancy, I would feel sick at the smell of food while cooking dinner, and I found that I could eat as long as I ate a bite of a dill pickle with each bite of food.
Things I've use for general nausea now are ginger candies I find at the health food store, they come in a chewie candy, as well as a hard candy, also ginger ale and gatorade. Congrats on your pregnancy and hope you feel better soon. BTW, my second pregnancy was a breeze, no nausea, I just ate like a piggie and gained lots of weight. |

When I had my DS I swore by graham crackers. Graham crackers are pretty bland. I would take a little bite and let it melt gradually in my mouth. I also found that if I ate a little bit all day I was better than if I let my stomach get empty.
