Hello all...I have an almost 12 week old who sleeps great in her crib at night (swaddled)...during the day she either sleeps in her swing or bouncy seat. Any tips for starting naps in her crib? Should I swaddle her like I do for bed time? I just tried to put her down in her crib and she was not too happy about it - put her in the swing and she is out like a light. The swing naps don't bother me, but I am wondering if it's time to start now for naps in her crib before it's too late! Any ideas/suggestions would be very much appreciated...thanks ladies!

did u try to put her in the crib after she fell asleep in the swing.....it might help her transition if she wakes up in the crib....?
Hayden would sometimes sleep in the swing..he transitioned fine to the crib later on.I think 12 weeks is too early to worry about that!!Good luck!im sure she will do fine! |

try taking her from the swing once asleep and placing her in the crib. or do try to swaddle her, sleep is sleep whether it's at night or during the day. :) |

I agree with the others. My son transitioned when we pushed nap time when he was older. He went from two naps to one long one later in the morning. He was so tired by then he just dropped off by himself.
