I would go to Healthy Food stores. Whole Foods has good lines of organic baby products. They are expensive though.

Definitely check out whole foods. Also, Drugstore.com has a good variety of more natural baby products. I think California Baby, Burts Bees (which you can find at Target now), Jason's Organics. There's quite a variety now. HTH!

I agree with the others, check out Whole Foods and other natural stores. Some natural brands I use on DD are Earth's Best, Aveeno Baby and Burt's Bees.

Burt's Bees.

I heard they're quite effective too. Not every product is 100% natural (usually 98% or close) but they try to make it as much that way as possible. I know of people who buy BB online to use them on their babies and they live in countries overseas where BB does not have a presence in.

Johnson's products are quite harsh even to adult skin, they contain too much surfectants and carcinogens that irritate the skin, an article about the brand and several others, appeared in Consumer Reports some time ago.

Whole foods is great for natural baby products.
I use AVEENO baby. They have a line of baby wash, lotion, diaper rash cream, sun block, ect. It works great for my DS. He has a mild case of baby Eczema, but with AVEENO baby, it cleared right up! No more baby Eczema Most of their products are naturally scented, or fragrance free

California Baby is highly rated by the Environmental Working Group for almost all products having non-toxic ingredients. It's easy to find at Whole Foods or Drugstore.com.

Here's the link to the EWG site with the ratings: http://skindeep.ewg.org/special/pare...php?nothanks=1. You can check different types of product -- shampoo, sunscreen, body wash, baby wipes, etc.

MOP (the hair product company) do a really nice Pear Shampoo and a Pear Body Wash which I believe are fairly natural.

There's also a company based in the UK called Earth Friendly Kids which is totally awesome with regards to bubble bath and hand wash. There is also Earth Friendly Baby which also has no nasties in (although haven't used that).

As you have found out, there are a lot of 'baby' products out there that seem to be waaay to harsh. My son is 10 but I still get natural hair and bath products for him!

It seems far easier nowadays to get hold of more natural products than it was in the past.

Good luck with whatever you decide on!
