Name confusion at school

"Tell the teacher! I'm a preschool teacher, and we have several children who go by nicknames... and one who goes by his middle name!"

I go by my middle name too...actually on reflection no one has ever called me by my first name, ever. Not even my parents. Always by my middle name since the day I was born. Strange. You'd think they would have just switched the two...but oh no, my Dad likes making things funky. And yes, I always forget that it's not my actual first name so when I fill in bank account forms ect, I always make mistakes. Always.

Maybe you should ask HER what she would rather be called at school...

Well I'm strange, I think a child should be called what they were named, in my mind why call them something they weren't named, or they should have been named the other name.

That's just me though, I'm weird like that. I live in a community where a lot of people go by a nicknames and it's confusing.
