Bagsaremybabies, I will send my older son over to you, so he can teach your little guy how to keep secrets. He knows the "brownie system" very well. LOL!

So far my kids have not done anything like that to me yet. My daughter is 5 and my son is 2.5 and the youngest it 6mth (so he is too young yet). But, I am waiting for the day when my daughter tells Daddy what Mommy bought.

The Coach store there had the Bleecker pouches and I needed a pick me up anyway (Been having some serious friendship issues with BFF) and I really liked the bag. I was debating between blue and brown since I already have the tote in plum. Well my son, who is two, kept saying "I like Blue bag mommy", which all the SAs thought was hysterical, but in the end I went with the Mahogany because it was more neutral and would go with more, plus it had the pretty pink lining and I am sucker for anything pink and brown.

OK, well anyway, meanwhile, my husband is in Texas right now. So my son is talking to him on the phone and he walks over to my purse (which is sitting on my dresser) and said "Mommy's new bag, brown, Daddy." I can hear my husband go "What do you mean Mommy's new bag" and my son goes really excitedly "Yeah daddy, Mommy's new bag brown. No blue."

He totally ratted me out! This does not bode well for the future
That is soo cute!!

Maybe the key is to have girls (I have one on the way:) who have some inherent understanding of not ratting out mommys on purse purchases?? Keep that 2.5 year old outta the mall with you - Learn from my experience!!

That's too funny! My daughter (step actually) never tells her dad when I buy stuff (she's 7). And if he does find out for some reason, when i'm trying to hide it from him, She just tells him "mommy can buy what she wants!" "If she wants new bags she can have them"! LOL! And scene! lol.

He says i've "turned his child against him".

Hey, girls have to stick together .

NICE! I love it! My niece who is 8 and is my baby as well, will totally rat me out to my husband. I have not done as good a job training her as you have your daughter - I need to work on that.
