Default My Delivery Story
hi guys.. i promised i would write what happened to me and here i am!

ok i went in for my 38 week checkup and found out that thankfully the baby had turned he wasnt engaged but he had turned and i was 1cm dilated.. so because of the high blood pressure etc we decided i would come in that night and be induced ( this was on a wed) so i went in that night and at 3am they put in the tablet to induce me..

nothing happened.. i was hooked on to a monitor to see the contractions and the percentage etc..

so 6hours later at 9am they gave me another one.. still nothing and i wasnt any more dilated.. i was told to walk as much as possible etc... then they said that night they would give me a pethadine to relax me and hopefully i will dialte more..

so that night they gave me a pethadine and then early on friday mornign they checked me and i was 3cm.. so they said lets take you to the delivery room...

so i went there and was hooked up to a drip that would also induce me.. i then got the epidural as my contractions were getting stronger.. now.. after the epidural for some reason i was numb down below but i could still feel the contractions on one side of my body...

they kept increasing the dosage of the contacration medicine but it was having no effect.. the most they give ppl is 45 and i was getting 65!!@! that was unheard of my doc was getting worried.. baby was fine but i wasnt dilating and i wasnt getting strong enough contractions.. suddenly though on fri afternooon i started feeling the contractions baaad they put me on gas etc but i was in soooo much pain they left me like that for 5hours hoping i would deliver but nothing.. at the end of it i was SCREAMING im not kidding i told them please just kill me... and i wasnt joking the pain i was in was ecruaitating i thought my spine was cut to be cut in 2!!!

in any case they rushed me to emeregency C section.. now i used to have asthma as a kid nothign serious only when i went to oz. and when it was dusty whilst i was preggers i felt my chest tighten up but not enough to mention it to the point wher ei thought it was an issue

in any case they took me and i went under general cuz i was in a state they couldnt calm me down.. anyway after it was done.. i stopped breathing!! ( i know i know sounds like a movie) but i literally stopped breathing they thought i was going to die .. instead of taking 1hr total i was in there for 2.5 plus receovery for 3.. i was a mess!!! but thanks fully now im ok and its all ok

i stayed in hosptial for a few more days while i receovered...

the weirdest part was when i came out of receovery they were like here is your baby!! it was weird i didnt get to expereince the birth etc..

but.. my son arrived!! weighing 3.87 kg and height of 51.5cm.. hes a cutie!!!! ive posted 2 pics.. one the day he was born and the other ( with his eyes open) when hes a week old.

i will post proper ones later these are from my phone as well as ones of the nursery etc ( im going home tomorrow im currnelty staying with my mum)

sorry if my story was all over the place.. im typing it 10days later when ive pretty much reveovered so the trauma of it is fading..
