I was sitting with my DS as usual this morning, and he grabbed my finger and stuck it in his mouth (as usual because he is teething) and I felt a little tip of his tooth!! His first little tooth!!
It makes me so sad, and happy at the same time! I know, it's only the beginning, but I thought I'd have a little more time than 4 months!!! He's only a little over 4 months old and he already is sprouting his first tooth!! Anyways, I just thought I'd share, and maybe hear about when your little ones started getting their teeth? |

That is quick! My little one has been drooling for the past few weeks and he's a couple of days shy of 4 months right now.

Yup, yup, yup; my little twins are sprouting their first teeth as well and I'm so glad you started this thread because I was feeling the same mixture of feelings you described... they are changing every day, growing up a little every day and I'm in awe at this process that I'm so blessed to witness but also a little teeny bit sad...wow, I love being a mom...

I know exactly what you mean emmalawyer!!! I'm sad to see him growing up, but I'm excited to see that he's thriving so well!! I know that it's going to be this way for the rest of my life. He will always be my little baby boy though And if another woman thinks she's going to take him from me, she's got another thing comin! ![]() |

My son (as well as my 2 girls) started teething around that time as well. Right now, he is 8 months old and his fifth tooth is spouting out right now. He just grabs whatever is near him and chews on it. I could be holding him and he will reach for my shirt and chomp on it.

Addicted2Chanel I have to show my DH your post because just yesterday I said the same thing about my boy and that future wife of his! It's funny because I feel absolutely no potential animosity toward DD's future husband. None. At. All. Zero. My little dude, though... different story altogether!

Emmalawyer -I don't know what it is, but I told my SO that our DS isn't dating until he's 16
![]() It will help him in the long run. LOL. Plus, it will take me some time to adjust, you know!! ![]() |
