Default Mow much matching/coordinating do you do?
I got a great deal on a kissy kissy convertible gown and I wonder if I need the blanket, also a good deal. In this case, Im tempted to get it also because their cotton is sooo soft, even though its pretty "pastel" for my taste.

Do you try to match stuff like blankets with outfits for newborns/infants when you can, or doesnt it matter that much?

For me, it didn't matter...and thank God. DS was a major spitter-upper and I was always changing him! The blankets and outfits wouldn't have matched for long with all his spitting up

WAY more important things to think about than matching blankets with outfits. It never even crossed my mind.

Never did that, but I did try to coordinate my diaper bag and stroller.

I make sure things match as far as a solid blanket with a printed outfit, or a printed blanket with a solid outfit. But a whole ensemble is just too much to think about for me most days.

Also, I notice that when I try to get DS into a particular outfit for a particular reason (starting with pictures in the hospital), he throws up or pees all over it.

No way! DS spit up multiple times a day until he was about 14 mo. old. I even quit using the fancy burp cloths after about 8 months and just used washcloths.

I do love Kissy Kissy, though; as you say, their cotton is fantastic, so smooth and soft.

The only things I am worried about matching are the room decor and I also happen to be registered for a car seat/stroller and a play yard all in the same theme as my nursery. Clothese I am not as concerned about matching due to changing the baby after an accident, etc.

I just try to get colors in baby blue, brown, white, orange.. those colors do blend pretty well... I won't try to match but colorwise, I will try to pick something that will look good together...

The idea never occurred to me when I had my son.
