Oh yes, I've lost big chunks of my brain after giving birth to my kids. I would go into the kitchen to get something and totally forget what I was there for. Or I would phone my husband at work and forget what I was going to ask him. After I had my last child, I would nap while he was napping, and one time I woke up and forgot where I was. I'm such a ditz.

Other than trying very hard to NOT get my house burned down, nowadays I am constantly having to double/triple check whether I've said something to my DH. Sometimes I swear I've told him something coz I remember the conversation, only to have him tell me No you didn't tell me. I am left scratching my head - did I have an imaginary conversation with myself, or is he messing with me? Knowing the both of us, I think it's 50/50

Absent minded is an understatement. I feel like I'm losing my mind most of the time!

the worst is when you can't find your car in the mall parking lot! I have to make sure I always park in the same area now or I might as well just take a taxi home because my car is as good as gone. Once I thought my car had been stolen-then I realized I had parked on the other side of the mall.

I was so absent minded after giving birth. I attributed it to being so focused on the baby that not much of my brain was left to think about other things.

Here is a perfect illustration of how bad I have gotten recently. Today, I took out the ironing board, plugged in the iron and then went back into the laundry room to look for the iron. Naturally, I couldn't find it so I tracked my husband down outside while he was cutting the grass to yell at him that he used the iron last Sunday and didn't put it back in the right spot. Boy was my face red when I had realized what I had done!
