I remember you mentioned that you had anterior placenta... I guess I'm only able to feel 'some' of the baby's movement and not all. Maybe it's a good thing that our placenta is anterior b/c I'm still able to feel a good amount of kicks... If timing is right, my SO and others are able to feel his punches. For everyone else who has posterior placenta, I can't imagine feeling every single kick, all day, must be distracting...

Anterior placenta? I hope its nothing major?

Anterior placenta isn't anything major... just that I'm missing out on most of the baby's movements. Which I'm a little sad about, b/c I love feeling his little kicks and punches.

You should let your doctor know about the itching. There's a liver disease called intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy.

Well I think that mine is actually higher up in the front b/c I am feeling more and more kicks each week. Of course they told me that as my belly grows the placenta will actually raise up some only b/c my belly is getting bigger. It can't actually move but as the stomach grows out and up the placenta will grow with it, if that makes any sense. My timing is never right with DH feeling the baby. Or everytime the baby is kicking like crazy and I grab DH's hand the baby quits, which is soo funny. Of course DH is not laughing. But I told him soon he will geto feel it.

Well I went to my 28 week appt and did my glucose test this morning. They had a fruit punch flavor drink which normally fruit punch for some reason makes me ill but this was not bad and so far no ill effects. I drank the drink then met with one of the drs in the practice, who I did not like very much, then waited for them to draw blood then I was out of there.

I did not have any ill side effects from the glucose test so I am not sure if that's good or bad news. I should have my results early next week.

I am measuring the same and the HR was normal and I have only gained 2 more pounds. And my BP was excellent. I have been worried about my BP cause it has been high the last few appts, like 140 over 86, but today it was 120/72. It must have been my nerves for those high numbers. Anyway I now go back in 3 weeks until 32 weeks then it will be every 2 weeks until 36 weeks then it will be every week.

jenniletv: Good luck w/ the test results! That's great your blood pressure dropped!

VLH: Lucky that you only have 4 days of work left. Most of us are probably jealous!

I am home sick with a stomach virus. I have been vomiting since 4 AM. My SO is also vomiting, we think it's food poisoning but my family had dinner w/ us last night and they seem to be fine. I called the advise nurse today and she said I probably caught a some kind of virus and that I have to stay hydrated and rest. I really hope this goes away before my baby shower.

loveBV - so sorry you are sick, hope you get better soon!!

jenniletv - hope your glucose test results come back ok...and glad to hear your blood pressure is OK now. i have the opposite problem with my BP..my BP is very low (has always been). it's rarely over 100...usually something like 90/60. it's kinda bad though b/c due to that i have a tendency to feel dizzy and even faint in certain situations. of course being pregnant makes that worse, especially when i have to stand for long periods of time, or when it's hot outside (like today, it was 80 degrees, in November, arg!!) so I really have to be super careful.

anyway, i had my first childbirth class tonight. it was pretty informative, yet i am more freaked out now more than anything else. our first hw assignment was to start packing my overnight bag to take to the hospital, and to start shopping for pediatricians. eek. it just kinda freaks me out, i guess i'm realizing more and more than this is really happening..in a just a few months i will be pushing a baby out...it still really boggles my mind!!
