I've gained 10 pounds from my pre pregnancy size but I had lost weight in my first trimester so I've technically gained 12. It all depends on your body and what it needs. Every woman is different and each one will gain according to what her and her baby need :)

I gained 45 pounds. The funny thing is, everyone was always telling me how small I looked, which always puzzled me.

Thank you so much ladies...hearing your answers has made me feel a bit better. The only thing I can do is feed the right food to my baby and just get back to running after I have this little one. Unless I get any red flags from my doctor, I'll just deal with this weight gain and try not to eat extremely bad food (drive thru....that kind of stuff)...keep those answers coming!!

I'm not pregnant now

But when I was, I gained like 26lbs. I never fit into maternity jeans, I was too small

But I got to wear my regular clothes out of the hospital

I gained 12lbs with dd, but with ds I'm at 30lbs and due now. I am way more hungry with him than I was with her, but if I try to deny myself food, I turn into a monster! Sometimes I feel like it sucks because I wanted to just gain like I did with dd, but I know I can get rid of it. I'm very good with strict diets.

I lost 5lbs in beginning due to morning sickness. I just stepped on the scale and looks like I have gained the 5 back! So, 5lbs.

I gained about 15 lb. overall with my pregnancy--lost about 5 in the first trimester due to lack of appetite and then gained 20 by the end. But I was overweight to start out with, so I needed not to gain too much. DD is almost a year old now and I'm 15 lb. less than I was when I got pregnant and would like to lose another 10-15 before we TTC again. I think whatever amount you gain, within reason, is fine as long as your eating and exercise habits are healthy.

I gained 44 pounds with my pregnancy. After giving birth I was so worried about losing the weight but the majority of the weight came off really fast due to breastfeeding.

I've gained everywhere from 35 pounds to 60 pounds with my pregnancies, with this one I've gained 12 pounds so far (at 16 weeks). Usually I am ravenously hungry all the time but this time not so much. I think it's because I'm eating a lot more protein than I usually do. Another nice plus to that is that I'm not craving sweets like I usually do so I'm hoping to gain closer to 35 than 60 this time! I'm only 5' 3" and carrying that much weight was really hard on my body!

I'm not pregnant, but we're thinking of trying soon, and I have a questions related to this. I've heard around 30lbs weight gain is healthy. I'm about 20 pounds overweight right now, and thinking of gaining an extra 30 is making me nervous. What if you're slightly overweight? Do you need to gain this much to be healthy? I've heard that overweight women can get by with gaining just a little bit of weight during pregnancy, but what about just slightly overweight? Is 15 or 20 pounds gained during the pregnancy not enough to have a healthy pregnancy? Once I'm pregnant I can ask my doctor, but I'm still very curious.

OMG! You look beautiful! I don't see fat at all, girl! I see baby belly!!! That color pink looks so pretty on you too...You make 40 lbs gained look flawless.

Awww, thanks guys!

Some days I look in the mirror and think "Dang, who's the cow?" and others I see that belly and smile knowing what's baking in there! But I guess the pregnancy thing can be a love/hate relationship.
The pink top is one of my favorites~ I got it at Motherhood early on and have worn it pretty much the entire pregnancy. The gathered sides "grow" with you, which is nice! I also got this top at Motherhood off the sale rack for $20~ it was from Pea In The Pod and was originally $155! I've had lots of compliments on it too!
