Thanks to the OP for posting this question and for the responses. My friend just miscarriaged at about 10 weeks and is convinced she won't go on to have a full time pregnancy. I knew she was overreacting but its good to see plenty of women (and in such a small sample size on this board) have had m/c then went on to have babies.

The sad fact is that unfortunately miscarriage is pretty common. I didn't really have a sense of that until I started talking to people about it after my miscarriage, and I realized there are so many people out there who have dealt with it. And, thankfully, most go on to have healthy pregnancies.
