I had a teeny bit of nausea in the mornings when I would take my prenatal, but as long as I ate something with it, I was fine. Otherwise it's been pretty good. (I'm 11 weeks along)

My first post here... howdy, everyone.

I can empathize with treck; also had HG and was sick nearly every day for the full haul - as many as 10 or more times per day/night. Nights were the worst; severe acid reflux was always worst then. Was in hospital 3-4 times for fluids, once needed 4L! Zofran helped some, Protonix helped alot. Total weight gain was 10.5 lbs for the pregnancy. But baby boy was strong and healthy at delivery and grew like a weed right from the start.
Congrats, good luck and take it all one day at a time!

I started have signs of nausea around 5 weeks or so. It never made me so sick I couldn't function. It was more just like queasy tummy, but if I drank water or ate Saltines the feelings would diminish. I was still able to eat and really only threw up a couple times. Otherwise I would get kind of gaggy due to excess phlegm build up in my throat. But that too would go away. All in all I can't complain. I'm at 19 weeks now and all the nausea is gone.

Mine started about 5 weeks, I feel nausated. I'm about 7 weeks now and I feel nausated from time to time. My morning sickness can be in the morning, afternoon, or at night. Sometimes, I feel like there's something stuck in my throat and I feel like vomitting but I never did.

I never threw up, but had extreme nausea at certain times of day from 11 am to 8 pm. I mostly laid down during those times. Other than that, I think I was sort of lucky in that way. But during the end at 7 months, I developed PIH (pregnancy induced hyertension, high blood pressure) which was really disappointing.. because I spent almost the entire August in the hospital.

I started getting sick immediately after my missed period. For the first few weeks I threw up almost every morning. I was nauseous all day so I practically hibernated so I wouldn't have to be awake! I lived on oatmeal and cup of noodle soup which was all I wanted to eat. I now hate the restaurants I went to those first few months because it brings back memories of the nausea. Apples were the worst- for some reason I could not eat them, plain, in instant oatmeal or in a smoothie...it just came right back up. I avoided apples like the plague all pregnancy. On a positive note, after the first trimester, as long as I ate regularly, I felt fine. My only problem was getting sweaty and dizzy after standing on my feet w/o moving for a while, which I quickly learned to avoid. Good luck and congrats!!!

When I was pregnant, I had gotten which was like a really bad cold. I was coughing, and sometimes when I coughed, I would throw up. The week after I had gotten pregnant, the aroma from cooking would make me nauseous. I was too sick to even wash my hair. The morning sickness stopped at around when I was 4 months pregnant. This was the sickest I've ever been.

I had morning sickness from about month 2 all the way to month 5. I threw up probably anywhere from 1-6 times a day. But I only actually vomited food once, the rest of the time it was just stomach acid. I guess my body was keeping all the food inside of me to feel the baby!

BAD...I'd describe it as projectile vomiting.
No one should have to go through that. I had to take anti-emetics. Hopefully you won't have it worse than it is now. Funny part about it all is that this all started after it was confirmed I was preggo. I knew I was but once it was confirmed, I got sick almost immediately, psychosomatic? Dunno.

My 1st time I was sick all nine months - the only smell I found comforting was that of a McDonald's cheeseburger (and I don't normally eat those). I still managed to gain the requisite 20-25 lbs.

2nd pregnancy - I was sick in the 1st trimester all the time, then I threw up about 1-2 x a day until I gave birth.

3rd pregnancy - bedridden for 2 months in my 1st trimester, got much better in my 2nd (I actually managed a trip to Europe LOL) and then more throwing up in my 3rd trimester. Off topic, I only gained 12 lbs and lost it immediately. However, I do have the leftover from the previous pregnancies to get rid off
