Default Home Daycare...
To those of you who use home daycare...

What things do you look for or ask? (i.e police checks etc)

I used a daycare center with my son and checked their licenses online etc but I am not sure about what to look into for a home daycare. Is it the same things?

I have a friend who is starting one and my DD is actually comfortable with her (if some of you have read my other thread DD freaks out with almost everyone). She worked in a center up until she went off on maternity leave and now has a 9 mth old who my DD plays with at play group.

I want to make sure all the checks are done...

Thanks

Is your friend going to get licensed?

Maybe you could just do a background check on her if you dont know her well?

I watched a friend's son for awhile and I don't think she checked into anything. I've known her since 5th grade though.
