Has anyone tried them? I bought one just to see what it was like. I hate using so many disposables. I've read on the net that they're a pain to wash, but then some moms just wash them on hot water for a cycle in the wash and say that's fine. There's no way she could wear them under her regular clothes through, they're huge! And I got the right size.
She's wearing it right now, we'll see how it goes! Any other cloth diaper suggestions? |

I used cloth with both my children. I loved the www.bumkins.com all in one diapers. They have the waterproof cover right on the diaper and you just close it with the velcro tabs. They worked great, never leaked and I had the paper insert thing that you just flushed down the toilet. I heard that G diapers are good too. www.gdiapers.com I would do a search for sale G diapers because I saw them on sale at a good price last week but I don't know what website I was on. Also with Bumkins you can usually find them on sale with a web search. My children hardly ever had diaper rash with cloth diapers compaired to my friends and when my friends showed me the gunk inside the disposable diaper when it broke open on their baby you are glad not to put that next to your baby. Most people will laugh when you say you are using cloth but I think it is great. Good luck. I also tried home made diapers made by moms who worked from home but it was hit and miss with fit and they were not as great as the Bumkins.

I don't care for fuzzi bunz. I couldn't work that many snaps. I use Bum Genius. For the wash I just run them in cold and then hot. Do not start on hot or your diapers will stain. I have found detergent (and the amount) being the biggest issue. I use a few squirts of dawn. Stay away from free and clears.
there is a cloth diapering board at www.mothering.com/discussions They are a great souce for info. |

Cool, thanks everyone. Yea FBs didn't work that well. They leaked bc the material right against her skin is almost waterproof.

if you have any specific cloth diapering questions, feel free to PM me. I own a cloth diapering store, maybe I can help. If you had leaks with fuzzi bunz, almost certainly you didn't have it stuffed enough. i can give you some tips!
