You're doing what will be best for everyone in the future. Don't feel bad. I think as a mother, we all beat ourselves up over not enough time with our children.

Melanie!! Don't feel bad, it's not like you want to be separated from her, it's just those darn exams!!!! I'm sure exam time will come and fly right by and she'll be in your arms in no time! Cheer up, and GL on your exams. Ace those suckers!
