Default Exchanging a flawed playpen. Am I just being OCD?
I got the Joovy room playpen today from my baby registry and of course the first thing I noticed is that there were two flaws in one of the otherwise symmetrical seethrough fabric walls. Im bummed because this was the item I was most excited about.

It appears that someone has gone in and tried to repair or reinforce the honecomb-shaped fabric by doing some hand stitching in two areas in the middle of the panel, making the normally sleek wall have two dime sized irregular looking areas. Like if you had two snags in your screen door.

If there is one thing I know, is that I let stuff like this drive me absolutely NUTS. I want to know if you think it would be unreasonable that I have a desire to exchange it.

If it were a $150 sweater with visible hand repairs I would return in a second. For some reason I wonder if I am being a drama queen because its a $150, 40 pound playpen in big huge box. What would you do?

I don't think you are being OCD about it (although I maybe the wrong person to ask), it would bother me everytime I looked at it. You are going to have it for a long time so go ahead and exchange it.

Wow, I thought this was going to really drag on and ruin my night (rough day anyway), but it already looks like its been resolved surprisingly. I just inquired with Amazon via email about the issue and without question they have already placed an order for a replacement and sent me a prepaid return label. They are so great!

I just pray the next one doesnt have the same problem. If it does I will just have to let it go. Whew. Im so glad thats over. I feel kind of bad but honestly I do think that would have always annoyed me.

i don't think it is possible to be too careful with your little ones, so i do not believe you are being OCD at all.. plus, i'm OCD, so i really can't judge. :)
thats awesome that amazon is so amazing with their costumers.. i hope the replacement is absolutely perfect - good luck!
